I second that query.
You mean the fit screen size which is not really full screen ?
In that case, this is tricky, because we don't have the info of the size of the OS toolbar and the size of some DAW plugin window header, so we compute this with some room.
In SA you can easily use the Window expand button but in Plugin this is trickier.

In my case, it fits with just a bit of white sticking off on each side. All functions are available on the screen, and once I position it, Cubase will pop it right where I had it on subsequent openings. I can live with that for now. As for the adjustable panes though, the dissappearing double arrow is a bit of a drag. Again, workable, but a bit more of a distraction. Temper that with my love for Falcon.

I wouldn't use full screen in plugin mode anyway, just in standalone. And on Mac the problem is there isn't a proper maximise any more after Yosemite, they stupidly replaced it with the full screen toggle, which I hate as it forces apps to switch between screens. So it would be good if Falcon could at least remember its size between sessions (maybe a save workspace function?)

Plus it remember the window size here. Can you clarify your issue regarding this ?

On my 30" 2560x1600 Monitor, fullscreen in plugin mode Falcon is a bit too wide for the screen (I guess the window border is not taken into account) and at the bottom it is quite a bit too short. Looks like 200-250 pixels maybe - above the task bar that is.

Also, when I switch from a smaller mode to fullscreen, the window is too far down and to the right. Would make sense to center it.

This is in Bitwig Studio (latest) on Windows 8.1. BWS is maximised.

Not sure why the plugin isn't freely scaleable? Many plugins these days are... (I know it's not in the VST standard, but it works well anyway ;-) ).

Cheers,

Tom

Here are some examples of the Rhythmic capabilities included in Falcon.

This includes lots of BPM FX, LFO, synchronized wavetable automation, and lots more:

In an effort to understand the modulation actions of Key and Key Follow and Linear Key Follow I turned off Note Tracking on an analog oscillator. A setting of 0% turns off note tracking.

I haven't been able to “restore” pitch tracking in the above scenario using key follow alone, or “key” or “linear key follow”. Is Key follow logarithmic or exponential or something? Just curious, I didn't see an explanation in the manual.

(by the way a setting of -100% note tracking is a facinating to play live.) :D

Linear key follow set to 50% -> chromatic tuning, try in on the combfilter, set basic frequency to 261,7 (c2), turn up the resonance and off you go.

Thanks,
Thanks - didn't know that trick. Doesn't remember its size for me though, at least not its maximised size, it always goes back to leaving out the bottom cm or so.

Thanks Simon

To be more pedantic:

Key is linear on the whole MIDI range
Key follow is a curved centered version
Linear key follow is a linear centered version

For filter follow use the linear Key follow with a ratio of 0.5 (0.502 for really perfect matching)

Ahhh, thank's Olivier, hadn't noticed that so far, I bet it will sound slightly better :)

Trying to follow some of this but not finding the controls/settings yet:
>>Key is linear on the whole MIDI range

Linear key follow is a linear centered version

Anyone car to post a pic? I want to try out the fascinating live playing feature mentioned above.

To reverse pitch on a per oscillator basis .
Also a script is available "reverse pitch"

And thanks everybody!

small bug for dev team... (1.0.1 mac OS X)

Pluck, you are able to drag the L marker past the end of the sample, Falcon will crash/lock up next time you play a note.

also... something I dont quite understand
with a Pluck oscillator if you delete the modulating Amp Env , the pluck sample will be played till the end, regardless of gate or if its a looped sample will carry on forever. is this expected behaviour?
(note: if you just disable the Amp Env the pluck will 'correctly' stop based on gate of the voice)

Im doing this as I tend not to use Amp Env. as Im using my controller control volume directly.

EDIT: what appears to be going on is this 'default' amp env. which is set to be modulating keygroup volume, also appears to affect the retriggering/stopping of the pluck. if you delete it, then it starts but does not stop (until the end, or never if looping)... and even if you add another replacement Amp Env. this does not have this same 'side effect'...

EDIT2: a couple of the presets in pluck e.g. WoodPlucker have MIDI CC 1 mapped to SignalConnection>Ratio, which I cannot find ... and the destination in inspector looks a bit suspicious, perhaps renamed param or something?
