NB If everyone put there Computer specs/OS etc in their signature it makes it much easier to source issues like this.

What CPU do you have? Mine is i5-4570 with relaxed power and 128 buffer audio @44.1 . It is rare a preset reaches 30% or above from my CPU.

With all due apologies for keeping this continued tangent about the GPU use going, could someone explain to this layman why it is that Avenger has to run at 60fps? I just had a quick look on the call on MBP resources. Cubase and Omni clock at around 2-3fps. Kontakt seems to raise it a bit to 6 or 7. Avenger though is 50fps, and the CPU drain doubles when the GUI is visible. So what is different about how Avenger is constructed that has this call on resources? Even if it halves to 30fps, it's still massively above other plugins, and I've never once noticed any lag issues on any of them. So I'm struggling to understand what's going on - is it an unwelcome side issue of having a fully scalable interface or something?

Again, doesn't seem to be an issue on the desktop, but clearly the MBP is suffering a bit with it.

Really? I didn't notice it or that the developer commented on it in the beta board.
Do you mean that you reported it before the release? During the beta? I haven't read it in the bugs list then.

So i bought it and already have regrets 2.0:

-Installed it and opened VSTi version of Avenger.
Right away, my fans of my macbook retina starting to run like a helicopter.
It opens at 100% view, asks for content file but the buttons to navigate
to that file just don't work at 100% view.
I could luckily click this window away, make the gui smaller and now
the buttons in the window to navigate to the content file do work.

So i choose "not installed yet bla bla", choose the content file which is on my desktop.
Seems that Avenger is importing the content now, all good.
I delete the plugin and re-insert it on an instrument channel and WTF:
The dialog window about the (missing) content file is coming up again (???).

Furthermore alot of buttons in the GUI don't react, i can click them but they do nothing.

So i tried AU version, VST3 version in Reaper, also tried AU in Logic, and VST and AU in Live : all the same problems.

So, cause the download of the content file stalled in Safari and had to resume it,
maybe it could be therefore got corrupted, leading to my issue.
So i re-tried downloading content file with Chrome, leading to same stallment and
couldnt even resume the download in Chrome.

So nice early xmas present: Avenger is totally unusable for me atm.
Maybe developer should do an intense beta test program for future products.
This is utterly cr@p.

Sorry for the stupid question, but, with the wavetables, is there a smooth transitions between the waves in a wavetable possible? I found what i guess is the control to "morph" through the waves, the orange bar above the waveform display, but it doesn't do a smooth transition, it seems to rather switch between the waves. Is there any way to morph smoothly through those, as it is possible in other wavetable synths?

I had the same until i direct drop and drag the content file into the small system's page location window.
