Possibility to edit each layer arp? Arp sequencer mode? Importing Midis? Possibility to use future XPs? The 100 things I forgot?

I’m absolutely in love with Nexus 3. I used to work with Nexus 2 at studio a long time ago and finally bought the v3 a couple of months ago and all the expansions I could use. Now all I need to work are Avenger, Rapid, Kontakt, Falcon, Icarus and Nexus 3. As soon as a sale pops up I’ll get the happy hardcore expansion.

I'm trying to "record" the Arpeggio data from Nexus 3 inside a DAW (Ableton Live) - but somehow I can't figure it out.
Basically if there's a cool drumloop I'd like to use, I would ideally want to record its midi so I can continue the editing within the DAW. How?

Im still not convinced to upgrade but if you upgrade can you keep the nexus2 license?
I read that presets got dwlered/removed and 3rd party presets are also removed? Were there legal 3rd party predets at all? I remember there are/were some pages selling nexus2 xps.

Yes. This will remain on your dongle unless you choose to swap it for an expansion.Im still not convinced to upgrade but if you upgrade can you keep the nexus2 license?
Some presets got removed/renamed in the TV Movie Game expansion due to copyright/legal issues I believe. Not sure about other expansions. Also not sure about the 3rd party presets, you may have to save each preset out of Nexus 2.7.4 so the .fxp's are compatible to be used in N3.I read that presets got dwlered/removed and 3rd party presets are also removed? I am currently working on a new Nexus 3 expansion, containing the greatest original synthesizers of the 80s and 90s in pristine quality. Coming soon to N3!

I really don't understand how a company can offer no demo and yet maintain that all sales are final and thrive. But yet it seems to be happening. I can't imagine dropping $250 let alone $4k without even knowing for sure if I even like it. The thing is if they did offer a demo and I did like it, I would most likely buy it. I guess Avenger( which I've had for a while) is probably just better for me all around..

Nexus sounds are on most EDM tracks.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Sun May 02, 2021 11:19 pm I really don't understand how a company can offer no demo and yet maintain that all sales are final and thrive. Most companies don't offer a "try and buy" on sample-based products. Omnisphere is another good example.
There are plenty of demos of Nexus' sounds.

They are top quality and produced by the same sound designer that does sounds for Avenger (Manuel Schleis).

Thanks for your effort. I am aware of what many of the sound demos sound like. Here is the thing.I want to know if I will enjoy working with it. If I will actually use it. If it REALLY offers me a percieved convenience. There are many products that get the job done and sound good enough or even exceptional. But some things just don't appeal to everyone. I can think of several that many people believe to be the best thing ever and I find to be not so fun to work with. I have no way of knowing if I love it just because maybe you say you love it. And yes you are correct there are quite a few (expensive in my opinion) products that seem very compelling such as Omnisphere or Falcon that offer no demo. That's their right. They just won't likely get my money. Life goes on.tony10000 wrote: Mon May 03, 2021 1:32 amNexus sounds are on most EDM tracks.CRAFTMATIX wrote: Sun May 02, 2021 11:19 pm I really don't understand how a company can offer no demo and yet maintain that all sales are final and thrive. Are you feeling hot, hot, hot? Don't miss the latest banger from Andy Hinz!
He takes things to the next level in Tropical House 4, with the beauty of natural instruments, pianos, mallets, plucks, steel drums, bells, atmospheric pads, lush leads, mood-lifting arpeggios, sunny sequences, spacious mixed drums, and beach-ready percussion.
Even on the hardest day, these sounds can't help but put a smile on your face and fill your day with sunlight!

1. I think the sounds are very nice/suitable for my music (what I’ve heard from YouTube etc)
2. There are many interesting expansions I would like (if the basic sounds aren’t enough)
3. I’ve read Nexus is very light in CPU (that would be such a good thing for me)
But the thing is: I don’t know how it REALLY works for my computer. How it “feels” to use it (is it easy for me to search the sounds I need, tweak the sounds of needed)… I can watch and watch tutorials but without possibility to test it… I don’t know.
