If they don’t do T-shirts they’re missing an opportunity. Nice branding.

You're supposed to be talking me out of it, Justin, not encouraging me to buy it AND a Linnstrument!justin3am wrote: Fri Aug 26, 2022 4:33 am I have a Prophet 6, which I usually play from a Linnstrument. Such a rad combo. It's got such a rich and dense tone and it's basically all sweet-spots. Even so, it has some decent sound design potential, for the kind of weird patches I like. I could have done without the built in effects but they fit the sound of the synth.
Logic Pro | LUNA Pro | OB-X8 | Prophet 6 | OB-6 | Trigon 6 | Rev2 | TEO-5 | Pro 3 | SE-1X | Minitaur | Integra-7 | TR-1000 | Analog RYTM mk2 | Digitakt 2 | TD-3 MO | TD-3 | Maschine+

It's not in my programming to discourage GAS.cryophonik wrote: Fri Aug 26, 2022 3:53 pm

That's a lot of pests
Maybe one day I'll buy one. I don't really care too much about synths after all it seems.
*Though I did actually sign up for a new upcoming eurorack module, an Analog Shift Register from
Sketchy Labs.
*@justin3am, you think I should get 2 of those ASR's?

My GAS for the month was alleviated by my stupid payroll dept taking a big wodge of pension contribution from my pay that I never asked for. Now I have to wait a month until next pay time to get it rebated, but on the bright side it will mean double bubble. May be time to sort out getting shot of a few things I’m not using to clear the decks and consolidate cash for when the right thing becomes available.

Yeah, ASRs are nice in pairs. I have 2 in my Serge system and when I had two Ornament and Crime, I frequently patched one into another.
It's like adding more stages to the bucket brigade. It can also be a lot of fun to use cross-feedback between two sets of ASRs, for generative sequencing.
Digital shift registers are a bit of an obsession of mine at the moment. I'd really like to get a Shift Core Generator from Synthfox, but I'm not sure where I'd put it.

Space is definitely an issue for me. I think that's the main issue I have about getting more synths.
I am like a Roadie in my own room already, unloading and stowing stuff that I want to use at that
particular time. This side of the island is hot, dry and dusty, so much so that I can't leave stuff
out, unless I'm going to clean it obsessively. More synths equate to more work for me, now guitars
and drum machines on the other hand...
