Free download manager will complete the file in 1:41 minutes... let's see...
In the download history a LOT of errors are displayed (such as file not found on server, internal server error, etc), but it allways continued downloading after a while.
[2 minutes later]
Allright. file extracted properly! So, free download manager seems to be the way to go!
Thanks again, Tommo!

with Nero to get a working CD?
I tried just to burn it, but it didnt work
What do I have to consider when burning it?

Steph, rename it from .iso to .nrg and load it in daemon tools
...or ....
rename it as .nrg and burn it with nero...
should work both way....even if i find the NRG->Daemon the best way.

Did you drag it into a normal Nero session? I think you have to select Recorder|Burn Image and point to the file to get it right. And it might be necessary to rename the file to .nrgrsmus7 wrote:btw

I had the same problem. I burnt it and then it wouldn't open from the CD either.rsmus7 wrote:btw

Went through so many motions yesterday I can't remember exactly what I did in the end - but iirc, I used DeepBurner and selected "Burn ISO image".
I also renamed the file to .bin and typed the file name with .bin into Daemon which, eventually, after a lot of false starts opened up the whole thing to show the files inside.
Put your .bin or whatever you rename it to into the same folder as ReBirth and remount the image.
Once you've got the damn thing open you can install and after that it should run ok.
Like I say - wayy too much hassle for an antique.

I selected "burn CD from image" in Nero, selected iso in the format selector and pointed it to the file. Nero just burned the CD fine.

thanks mick,
I hope I understand what you wrote
well I could open the iso with arc
but I have only round 200 mb then.
and I couldnt mount it in my virtual drive.
Maybe I have to try Deamon for that.

Trying to download it now whith eMule, though I havn't got the faintest idea how to use it. Its downloading 526MB, it suggests its going to take a few days.
Thing is my connection is only 5 hours at a time, so Im not sure if eMule resumes, when disconnect and reconnect. My download manager -fresh download, would not download it?
I do know that if you have too many connections whith a download manager a file can be corrupted.
