Or automate that little green on/off button. I do it all the time, and it's really a snap to do and works well.

Incidentally...I didn't even realize you could automate fx destination. Might come in handy some day :)

I don't know if this has been said already, but the only feature I crave in FL is the ability to change the beat division for any sample. I hate how the beat divison applies to all the samples. To do triplets and 4/4 notes you have to use math and extend the pattern length and its just awkward.

Use a Fruity Send in the first FX slot and send it to one of the send tracks...easy.

Also FL6 will allow you to do this on any channel without the send plugin.

Carb.

:dog: excellent idea! :D Thanks

has anyone said simple note transpose in piano roll? this is basic thing every sequencer should have and almost every others have it... there's quantize already included so why not transpose...?

Post

the piano roll key limiter tool allows you to transpose, and FL6 will have kb shortcuts for this (to transpose +-1 semitone or +-1 octave quickly)

Take another look. I can move them anywhere on my screen :)
I can't... What settings have you made to do this? I can't even get the fl plugs to float above the top. It needs a freeze option and PDC...
you must have them locked......

From the Fl Studio help file:

If you right-click the empty area at the
top of the screen, a menu will pop up that
contains a list of all panels. Those that
are visible are preceded by a check mark.
You can use this menu to toggle the
visibility of the indidivual panels in FL
Studio, except the main panel (which always
remains visible). Checking "Lock" will
lock the panels into position so that you
can not move them by accident.

Not quite the same as actually shifting the
notes.
It can get really confusing if you have a
part transposed with the limiter but
the notes you are looking at are not the
notes you are hearing.......

you can always select and drag the notes
though.......

THis is true. I wish they had something where you can select a certain number of tracks (with the little green button), [right click], [transpose], and then enter +/- value. I have external hardware sequenced tracks mixed with vst sequenced tracks. If I want to transpose some notes I have to go into each and every piano roll and manually drag it. it fkn sucks and wastes so much time. I posted this in FL forum along with their useless sample finding feature but nothings seems to be happening for the FL6 update concerning this

The ability for .fxb presets to show up in the browser window the same way .fst's do.

I wish it was easier to combine different time signatures into the same project file.

...isn't this somehow possible if you set of your piano roll or step sequencer to the appropriate size? Then you can have a 3/4 measure going in the playlist at the same time as everything else. Isn't that one of the perks of customizable "palettes" in step sequencers?

yes but it's frustrating and oyu have to line it up. If you could change it for each pattern it would be perfect.

or even the option to quantize notes into different time sigs
