The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I give up on this one. This thingy will either run across my path and sounds great then (update?) or I will never try one myself. Sounds not convicing to me right now.AndrewSimon wrote:OK more clips:

Some of those I like. Some are cold sounding. Some are kind of plastic in the midrange--especially the "direct in the room" clip. Are they all direct? Because speaker sims have always been the biggest weakness in modelers. Personally, as with many people who are gonna settle for an emulation, Im gonna use one of my real amps if I have to mic up.AndrewSimon wrote:More clips:

is that straight out of the box? Would you please describe the signal chain? The low end sounds cool. Nice sound overall.

AS, is that confirmed now? Last time I heard of the VST version of the AxeFX, the axe developer was looking for a VsT programmer to do all the front-end work.AndrewSimon wrote:I heard some good news today:

Yawn.....
I don't give a rat's patoot how good it sounds...its ridiculously overpriced. If I was going to spend that much money
on one piece of guitar kit it would have to be either a great guitar
or amp....end of story.

Cliff ("the creator") indicated that he wants a full line
of products (floor model, combo amp, midi floor controller, VST and more...)
krraqk
As far as I know it will run on the same code as the hardware and
it will come with some kind of hardware interface.
