I love the sound of DSPs. Although I find the resonance on Motorolas can be a little harsh at times.

Sounds a lot like the Blofeld to me.

It's not just about the resonance / drive / self-osc with that filter. Put some harmonically complex material (like say two moving wavetables FMing each other) through it and you'll hear.

Sweet. I'm not ready to buy yet; i only just got the blofeld and i'm still working my way through that. I'll probably get the sample upgrade next anyway so that'll keep me occupied at least for a few days.

A virtual version of the blofeld sounds nice though.

ain't got a clue what this bloke is saying on the vid but just been checking out some features..

Yes and no

AirEQ... They have a extra version which doesn't need a dongle (cannot save) or you get a trial license for the dongle where you install the full version and has a time limitation (10 days or so).

Hmm... just checked Minimoog V2 and SubBoomBass - they have demos which don't seem to require any dongle.

Just FYI, the same can be said about any PC: it is hardware and have DSP in it (CPU is a DSP too). And please tell what exact "circuits" do you mean?

I know what you mean BUT:

'nonsense' belongs to the 2nd half of the sentence

it's nonsense for most of the people to buy a dongle to be able to try out a synchrosoft protected app. AFAIK it has not been cracked before cubase 4 times; later versions, refx nexus 2 and many others are still on uncracked lists so I don't think they will risk their protection with just a special license or time limit.
