And a very tiny request. A way to open up the user manual from the interface. Maybe through clicking on the DMG logotype or somewhere inside the Setup window?

No, the discounted pricing is for the first 30 days. Everyone knows that on release there will be a few bugs we didn't catch during beta, so we discount on launch mainly to account for that and to thank our early adopters.bezusheist wrote:a quick question about the pricing...the prices for "this month" end tonite, UK time?
Thanks to everyone that's purchased already, your faith in our work is touching and we really appreciate it.

Another tiny bug. Browsing through the Mods presets shows them as sorting in wrong order.
1. Classinc FET
10. Smooth
2. Classinc Opto
etc.

Dave / Krzysztof,
i found a bug in operating the sidechain eq :
-Mac osx 10.6.6.
-Ableton Live 8.2.2 :
crashes everytime i move the low cut to the far right of the display (AU and VST).
-Wave Editor 1.5.4 :
same here, but now only when using VST.
let me know if you need anything else (screenshots or whatever).

edit: replied too early. That got sorted.
Morning all. Looks like I need my coffee too today
In no particular order:
1) Fix Digital Performer AU, so that connecting a sidechain isn't mandatory (I'm actually not kidding)
2) Fix Reaper bugs (Listen menu, Why are B-H being overwritten, Crash on relocating Mods root)
3) Fix Mods display order.
4) Crash on dragging the filter???
Dave.

Yes please. Screenshot would be ace. The low cut = HPF?
Are you using the zoomed-in graph, or the mini one?
Cheers,
Dave.

I mean, it's almost like it's making a statement.DaveGamble wrote: 1) Fix Digital Performer AU, so that connecting a sidechain isn't mandatory (I'm actually not kidding)
This is by far the most characterful bug I've ever had.
Dave.

This thing sets the new standard for compressor plugins imho.
The only glitch I'm seeing is the WAV meter display freezes or drops out in Reaper 4 alphas. Not a showstopper, but the waveform/reduction meter graphic should probably be smoother at all times.

The freeze is a feature while your mouse hovers over the gain reduction display. If it freezes in any other case, well, that's a bug

Hi Dave, great Comp !
You *may* remember, that I mailed months ago,
proposing a unique feature, that's still missing in software-land:
ducking with constant/fixed reduction ( set by ratio ).
Back in the day, the ValleyPoeple comp. modules, offered this great feature.
It looks like, this is not possible with COMPassion ?
... and a BIG wish :
Can You add the zoom state of the reduction meter to the 'save default' parameters ?!
bye, Jan

Should be possible with the "ceiling" parameter... if you want for example constant 5db reduction, set ceiling to 5db and "overload" the threshold and ratio so that anything that comes in triggers a reduction of >5db._dada_ wrote:ducking with constant/fixed reduction ( set by ratio ).

yes, i mean the HPF filter.
doesn't matter which of the two i use (the zoomed-in graph, or the mini one), it crashes in both cases.

Dave, one more :
Can we have mousewheel support for the 'hidden' parameters, as well ?!
bye, Jan
