these things arnt Moog Voyagers are they :-)
See my edited reply above.
If you think Lemur and TouchOSC are toys - well, then you're just proving that you have absolutely no idea.
And if you think your netbook can do the same as those, you're just plain stupid.
As easy as that.

Have I missed something? Lemur is a control system. I use X board 49 - 16 real knobs and full size keys. The combined cost of Netbook + Xboard 49 is still less than Lemur / ipad. These things will not turn you into a musician. They do make you a gadget freak though - different altogether.

All too apparently.

If you really don't get how this is apples and oranges (and maybe not even that), you should have a reality check. Seriously. Because what you're writing so far is absolutely clueless.

Since when was this thread about cost?
Also, my pack of cereals is cheaper than your airplane. How does that compare?

Neither your netbook or your controller will turn you into a musician, either. And you're just as much as a gadget freak using them already.

A friendly advice: Start typing *anything* that makes sense. It might require some thinking (not exactly sure whether that part of your brain is actually active...). Otherwise you should better stop as you're making more and more of an idiot out of yourself with each further post.

Ah...phew :phew: You are just trolling then!

For a moment I actually thought you were the most unintelligent self-twisted little tweeny twat I have ever commented.

Post

Well, there arnt any proper arguments against what Ive stated, so we all agree that these things are just gadgets, some more expensive than others. Im done here :-)

Please find a different thread to troll, UltraJv.
Your comments are not usefull..sigh..

I suggest you check over at the Auria thread, where my comments here are being echoed by others. Dont forget the NAMM IOS 2012 thread. Its hilarious, some devs taking the P**s out of it as well :-)

Post

Am not interested in your suggestions, reading several pages with your nonsense has been boring enough.

Yeah. Some devs missed the iOS oportunity. Or can't hack it. Bad for them.

If you think no one can take an iPad, and make the music you're making (even for less money), well then you're wrong. Again.

And exactly what comments are echoed in the other thread, regarding Apple and iPad?

As I said earlier, you can make music with a Stylaphone or washboard. You dont have those because they arnt fashionable, thats what this is all about - hey look - Ive got an idevice, its better than anything ever, Kudos to me

Android has latency, IOS has file sytem locks, preventing proper plugins. Neither is suitable for full DAW replacement. I have and Android phone, this is an Android thread. I have some fun audio apps on Android. Very sad that you have to troll here...

So now you're on about full DAW replacenements.
I can't remember anyone, but you, arguing about that.

Then read the IOS threads, its full of people proclaiming that the end is nigh for desktops, laptops and all because ipad can do it. Maybe I shouldnt tell them that father xmas is dead. We go round in circles here. If IOS ever loses its locks on plugins, then things will really change but for now. All bets are off.

No, it's not full of that. And you don't even own an iPad.
So everything is in you head, as a vague opinion without facts.
