But hey, degrading threads is what you do best ;)
so this is about me now? how remarkable. and predictable. and childish.

you said your piece. you repeated it into twathood. best stop while you're behind, huh?
"Being nice isn't my forte" ~ whyterabbyt , that's sig material if ever I saw it, thanks for that line of the year lol :D
I'd say 'whoosh' but it'd be over your head.
Ironically you just proved my point.

But yeah, IBTL , fingers crossed anyway ! lol before someone melts.

None of the 64-bit upgrades I have aquired so far have been free (Waves, Sonnox, Brainworx) so I can't see why Ohmforce should be any different.

I see what you did there. Not very valid though, bit like your opinion on this topic. :)

Are they just 64bit updates or actual new versions ? Waves went version 9 from 8 with the introduction of 64bit , so it wasn't just the 64bit alone. I am not sure of the others, so I cannot comment. But it is very few and far between, especially considering the volume of plug-in dev's around. Possibly 2% charge for 64bit updates ? Says it all really.

Both Waves and Sonnox must be some of the most widely used plugins among professionals. To me there is no immediate difference between the 32 & 64-bit versions. Brainworx and Waves have gone from iLok to cloud-authorization but that has no impact on the functionality whatsoever.

I have upgraded entirely to get 64-bit cabability. I understand that converting from 32-bit to 64-bit takes a lot of work, so I have no problem paying for it. Demanding to get updates free feels somewhat like damanding to get plugins free. Would you work for free?

It seems that the 4 posts you have done so far are all for the sake of defending the strange marketing strategy of ohmforce. Is that all your interest in music and plugins? Hony soit qui mal y pense!

Ohmicide to date is one of the best distortion plugins there is. For €20 I can now finally get the 64bit version. Do I want Ohmforce to be around to produce more great products? Big time!

Seriously, get over it !

I am a songwriter and producer. I have no association whatsoever with any of the companies in question. I just recognise that they create the tools of the trade that enables us to make music. In spite of piracy I want them to be able to continue with updates and develop new plugins. €20 to upgrade to the 64-bit AU version of Ohmboyz seems totally reasonable to me. Getting the VST and RTAS version as well is a nice bonus. Thank you Ohmforce! :)

FYI: I am not part of the Ohm Force setup. My only association is as a satisfied customer.

I am sympathetic towards Ohm Force, and I particularly understand them being faced with unreasonable users, hence my posts.

There's not much more I can say without repeating myself so I refer people to

Which shows, in technical details, the difference in the 32-bit and 64-bit formats, for windows.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

@Ohmforce:
Thanks for releasing 64bit plugins.
Upgrade price is OK.
After so many years, OhmBoyz is still one of the best delays out there.
...and I'm leaving now this discussion, bye.

I just love these discussions.

I'd like to know, sometimes, if these complainers would like to work for free to help alleviate the costs associated with this type of business in the first place.

Besides, if the thing still works for you in 32 bit mode then why bother upgrading?
