You mean that loud noisy hiss from the monotron series? I do hope it is a little bit cleaner but still want some of that noise.

Pre ordered all 3 last week with an expected date of "the beginning of September".
Luckily I tripped over and accidentally bought a Mininova on my way out to keep me busy until then.

intrigued/confused by Korg design concept after checking out
the old electribes(these are obviously the analogue successors,
smaller and more fiddly, yet nicely compact):
what use is global delay on a beatbox!?
indiv send, no?
i was thinking this with the ER1, and also:shame not more outs.
i then came to approach the box in a different way, and appreciate
it for other advantages eg: 1 'kit' per pattern, if you dispense
with sequencer and trigger over midi(or it becomes a kind of
'scenes' trip)
the 'beats' will kill the 2nd hand 606 market anyway, surely.
don't you think/feel korg bypassed an output expansion board
market with the electribes? these look/sound pretty hot all
the same. would you trade your mint 606 for a volcabeats?

I was really looking forward to getting these but I have my eyes on the ms20 mini now. Love that sound!

you can use stutter on an individual part. @ 1:55, he demonstrates the stutter over the whole pattern, then just on the snare.mztk wrote:intrigued/confused by Korg design concept after checking out

I remember getting good use out of the ER1's delay but I honestly can't remember how. In any case, that's a pretty dumb limitation to have carry on for so long. :-/mztk wrote:what use is global delay on a beatbox!?indiv send, no?

Most likely, if for no other reason than the motion sequencing.would you trade your mint 606 for a volcabeats?

There needs to be a plate that mounts Volca's on top of the MS20 Mini. What a killer system that would be!faun2500 wrote:I was really looking forward to getting these but I have my eyes on the ms20 mini now. Love that sound!
