Thanks a lot, for those who dig Berlin School/Tangerine Dream/Schulze of the 70's it's a fantastic toolGlyn Darby wrote:i am the creator of the Synthi700R and it is free because thats the way the reaktor family works, you share your work and everyone profits.Cheers Glyn.
Apparently a lot of stuff is also cookin' in the Krakli lab, during the summer four ensembles for Reaktor has been added to the test area, including RMXR:

How can you work with this for more than 10 minutes without having a migraine?Numanoid wrote:

A short break to play some guitar or keyboards turned away from the screen?
This gui does make me want to play some PacMan. A little variety on the panels
and function colors would go along way, but to ne honest, the last 10 or so
instruments I tried from the user library, are so wonderful, that I would wear sunglasses with magnifier lenses, and a tin foil hat, if I had to.
The libraries Top 100, Hottest 50, and Updates sections, are a lethal combo,
and the comments often point to niche favorites that are also jewels
in that vast paralell universe.
Final score: Sounds win it, going away, 49 to 10.
Cheers

Been checking this site out since you posted this Numanoid. ArcWave and WaveChaser look interesting. Have you, or know anyone that has used them?Numanoid wrote: New ensemble from Everything Turns

I recommend The Weirdo& Rubiter Ate
I've tested a few (60+) ensembles since I bought Reaktor in July. I've found myself using these two more and more.

I've had Weirdo the last few days, pretty cool so far!
I'll check out Rubiter Ate ASAP.

Reaktor add on synths are awesome for bass and leads.. but the synth itself is too complex for me to get into easily

Purple for Reaktor got an update:

BTW: I think ET is the only vendor I've come across that sends out newsletter to his mailinglist, without actually including a link to his own webpage

I've signed up for the newletter but haven't received any as of yet. My interest so far has been centered around ArcWave & WaveChaser.Numanoid wrote:Purple for Reaktor got an update:

On another note, by suggestion, I've tried the LaserBass and added Rubiter Ate and I like them quite well. LaserBass, contrary to its name does some very nice moving leads and middle ground things.
I spent a nice 3 or 4 hours with Reaktor yesterday and going back to the 'studio' today to dig into it more. It's really starting to click with me.

I actually only have a few Reaktor ensembles I built over the years that I use for actual "music production".
The real fun about Reaktor are all those small ideas that can be realized relatively quickly.
I often have an idea and build a simple ensemble around it on a weekend, sometimes I'll never open these ensembles again, and sometimes they'll inspire me to try some new stuff. I always have a lot of fun building them though
I just threw three of these small weekend projects into an ensembe and recorded a few minutes:
These are not really revolutionary ideas or something but it's a lot of fun nontheless! I built the "Circle Seq" yesterday and already got so many new cool ideas what I could do with that concept alone
Cheers

Another Reaktor jam:
This one sounds a little bit more Autechre-ish
