Well, if you have the attention span of a rabid gopher on speed, then you'll have forgotten about those glitches that happened two bars ago, and thus need to be reminded of them frequently.Echoes in the Attic wrote:I love me some tasteful glitchiness, but glitches are the electronic equivalent of crazy drum fills. It's not the amount of glitches that bothers me. Some people can cover a whole track in glitches just as some drummers can spew out a syncopated cloud of snares for most of a track (mmm, bebop). It's never about what you do and always about your intentions. It's intention in music that shines through - or not

I don't really like BT or his music (although orbitus teranium is a great track) but I think break tweaked is very good
Glitch is getting thrown around a lot in this topic and although break tweaker nails glitch it is also very very good at generating samples in a grid in a new and exciting way, especially with the extending notes feature,I might get this one

i also like it for just the pattern based approach and the possibility to trigger the patterns with the keyboard..getting nice results fast with drums is cool, since i like to concentrate more on synths..think i`ll get this one and i don`t believe that Izotope will stop improving the features so..don`t care much about that micro edit thing actualy..
only thing is the price wich holds me apart right now..

Exactly, someone show me where the music is where people have used glitch tools to hurry in some glitch content, and have then gone on to push the boundary in other areas. Electronic music made in the bloody 70's sounds more forward thinking and less formulatic than most of what's put out in both the EDM and the IDM circuit.dayjob wrote:but more people just crank out the same thing over and over again. see any genre for examplesSuloo wrote:well, if we save time we got more time to explore other realms
And the point it all went to crap? When electronic/urban music was recognized as a viable cash cow.

Still demoing BreakTweaker. Very fast way to work. Anybody have any ideas about using it with ultraloop?
