in my case the Ram never drops. In one case it even I creased, apparently. i haven't had the chance to use v7 yet, i hope they make it some kind of priority.
on my machines, the GUI of v7 loads way too slow to integrate into a workflow. The whole GUI area needs an overhaul, codewise i think. Maybe lose the nipple macros in the process?
