what so now people arent allowed to post on a forum about a magazine that may be helpful to users of said forum,or indeed any of the devs who charge for their synths are no longer allowed to post here :o

i honestly think you have this out of all proportion, why must everyone try to piss on someones chips just for the sake of it :?
thanks for failing to understand anything i said.
whats the point really....
it was about common sense.....and all i get is a nutter insulting me and someone responding "yes" to "what time is it?".

i find kriminal beahviour annoyin towards the casual kvr reader .....but especiually unfair towards other freeware developers which seek more exposure for their work but don't result to such low methods.
u want recognition and feedback for your work? ....just keep on forum 1st page bumping as long as u can. (the goodness of the plugin itself comes 2nd).
the latest bump by krim knocked a great freebie on 2nd page....thats where i reacted with a little disgust.

@manytone u seen the reaction i got for sayin this?
obviously other ppl which felt this way didn't feel like sayin anything...and i can understand why.

Its ninja time. Now stop drooling on your keyboard and find something meaningful to do.

why dont you go and bump all the threads you like then, its a free world.

Im just promoting my synth, and will continue to do so.

Oh man, this almost fell off the front page!

Whew, was a close one, but I think I caught it in time.

Congrats Krim and Ian on the exposure for this freebie! Well done.

you may find that it is illegal to reproduce an image without permission
a self-proclaimed lawyer on some random copyright site wrote:Is the use of the copyrighted work for nonprofit or educational purposes? The use of copyrighted works for nonprofit or educational purposes is more likely to be considered fair use.
... im not making any profit (and i cant see - unless youre REALLY tight - how im depriving future publishing of any) by posting that so im sure im ok ...

... on top of which i AM a teacher and we have rights to reproduce stuff for educational purposes ... i was merely educating the KVR members that this months CM contains some stuff that might ACTUALLY be some use to them ...

there are 1000s of freebies.
if they were all to be bumped the same way the forum would be killed off.

cos U see nothing wrong about it ( :o ) don't mean is not wrong.
anyway cos U are a moderator u've just given anyone the right to bump their theards indefently and for no reason other than to get more exposure.
i've proven to u the reply he made was made deliberatley to avoid it slipping to page2 yet u ignore the facts.
I hope the same moderating methods will apply to developers which are not your friends.
actually I don't....cos as a affectionated kvr reader i don't wanna see ninjabumpings (disguised bumps) take over these forums.

ps: i would like to hear Ben's opinion on this.
if Ben says is fine....then it must be fine for EVERYONE....everyone of the "free" developers at least.
MUST you type like such a f**king R3taRd?

Actually, carry on that way, it's a great indication of the (lack of)intellectual content of your posts.

R3taRd+..

Computer Music magazine is giving away a special edition of the rather excellent KARNAGE VSTi :D

Image

Its free on this months DVD (issue85)

Image

New Feature: Host synced 8 step voltage array that can be routed to Osc1, Osc2, Oscs 1&2, The Filter, The RM freq, or the Dist Freq.. Think of it as another LFO type Modulation source with nil CPU hit... The little blue slider controls the overall level and the 8 rotary knobs control the levels of each step.. It sounds fantastic when modulating the filter or Dist...

Inside the magazine is a two page spread, inlcluding a review and a tutorial. Its also mentioned on about every other 6 pages (and got top billing above SS2 Free :hihi: )

So, run out and grab it now, it would be rude not too :D

(just over the page there is also a small review of one of my trax :D )

In all the fuss, I missed some details on this. Is this a one time only, or has Karnage become an official part of the recurring CM studio?

I did mail Kev and asked him, but i havent had a reply yet. I imagine it will be on the disk everymonth, but not sure if it will be an 'official' part of the CM Studio.
