Just ignore him! If you have used Record for a while you will know it has the most intuitive and beautiful workflow. Even better than Live when it comes to mixing and sequencing. Record is exactly what I've been waiting for (well especially if it gets midi-out), after getting used to the SSL mixer I feel handicapped when I return to Logic and Live. Not to mention the total awesomeness of everything can modulate everything rack. That I can have a step sequencer modulating the gate of an arpeggiator modulating the sample start and filter of a sampler being processed through Thor's filters which is modulated by the step sequencer's gate modulated by....

You get my point!

Not trying to be the wise ass or anything, but how does that differ from Logic? Aren't you constantly switching screensets, from midi to arrange to sample editor to midi to arrange etc. etc. ? Even if you set up a screen (or use the docked windows) with arrange view and mixer.. there's nothing stopping you from doing that in Record, is there? Logic's screensets are a lot more powerful, but you still end up hitting function key constantly.
I think that any comprehensive sequencer/DAW is going to have enough going on that always requires a certain amount of button pressing, mouse clicking & screen switching. I think this is the case with most things unless you have about half a dozen monitors! Okay maybe 2 would really help things but you get my point. There's a lot going on in these things & just not enough screen real estate for everything. I actually think that Record has one of the best interfaces I've seen for ease of use & navigation ...... now if it just had MIDI-out I'd buy it in a heartbeat  Actually Logic 8/9's interface is also superb. I used to really like Tracktion as well but since Mackie took over from Raw Material it just seems to have fallen by the wayside.

No need to ignore anyone  Everyone has the right to an opinion.

In the end it's just a matter of getting to know the tools. I didn't like Record either at first. But a couple of hours making an effort paid off and I now agree with you, it's one of the more intuitive programs around.

I spend some effort learning Reaper as well, and that feels intuitive now as well, even though there's plenty of arguments for the opposite, on paper anyway.
