crash on new install.. the older 4 version crashed after I clicked to close and this happened..

It's also kind of moot, since I have 4.5 installed .. just a heads up..

Resulting in this...

I had to reboot to clear it..

Hi Attila. Thanks for the long awaited update. Of course, the most important thing is MIDI controllers for the phrase! Right now I don't have time to experiment and test and although I see that everything is working very well so far, I have a simple question number one on a specific example: If I quantize a phrase, will the pitch bend be quantized along with the notes? For me, quantizing controller events is an important part of the job. Thank you .

on continuation of that, understand, this is a very, very, complicated update. It will produce a few bugs, and until it's worked out, expect a bumpy ride to completion..

yes, I confirm that any note operations (e.g. quantize) will automatically move the CC's with the note. I don't know if any DAWs offer this functionality, but I don't think so

Hello Attila!
Does note quantization move notes along with controller events ? Did I understand you correctly ? But alas, no. Note quantization does not quantize the corresponding pitch bend events eg . If the synthesizer solo played by me using the pitch bend is quantized, then this solo will change (for the worse, of course) beyond recognition. I'm saying this because I've been using it for about 30 years at DAW Digital Performer. Here are two short videos ,how do they do it DP and RC.
PS. By the way . Even when I render a phrase with variations, controller event quantization also doesn't happen.

Hi Attila.
I'm having a bit of trouble with the centre mouse wheel controlling the sliders.
I keep inadvertently changing the values when trying to scroll the track up and down. Is there any way to disable this feature in the settings please? Cheers. Mike.

Hi lulukom!

The CC's move with the notes ONLY if they are attached to notes. Track or phrase CC envelopes do not move obviously if you move the notes.
To help you with this, I am going to implement moving track CC envelope to phrases or notes.

RapidComposer v4.6b1 is available!

Improvements:

'Replace Selection' option added to the Idea Tool to replace the contents of the timeline selection
Timeline range selection added to the Phrase Editor and Melody Editor (Ctrl-drag on the timeline to make a selection). When there is a selection, only the selection is played back.
In the MIDI Mutator you need to hold down Ctrl for timeline selection to be consistent with Phrase Editor and Melodya Editor
Keyboard focus border is hidden if window looses keyboard focus, and shown if window becomes keyboard focus (this is important for the plug-ins)
New setting: 'Enable mouse-wheel over track sliders' (disabled by default)
