The module in the lower-left corner, labeled 'Smooth/Stepped/Slopes', is a Random*Source Carnivore. The epic journey that brought that module to me was long and very stupid (lets count how many times UPS can mess up a delivery
). I'm glad it arrived safely.

This little module is such a blast. It can be anything! The LFOs can be filters, the envelope can be an oscillator... or a filter. The Smooth section can be a track and hold and a comparator at the same time. Or it can be an LPG like VCA. The Stepped section is mostly a Sample and Hold but it has a slew on the input, which can cycle for creating stair case wave shapes or weird glissandos. The whole bottom row there is great for creating chaotic systems.

I bought a Minilogue ~4 years ago but i sold it recently because it was too limited for my sound design desires
. About a week ago i watched a YT vid of someone playing with the Korg Opsix and i was blown away by its capabilities. If it gets on sale again im gonna buy one for sure, seems like a really fun synth with almost unlimited possibilites due to its powerful FM architecture.

Saw on the Elektron boards the TR-6S is on sale for $279
I’ve been eyeing this one but I don’t need it. Not that’s stopped me buying before, but I’m probably missing this one.
Edit: just ordered. They’ve added new engines and effect even on the TR6S. My excuse is the added portability with batteries.

2hp Bell arrived so I added it to my little performance skiff. It's actually quite tasty now, got a number of handy little sound sources for beats and arps.
The only drag was having to use standoffs for the Expert Sleepers and 2hp modules as the Behringer skiff is so shallow.

I just found this rare Poly Expressive foot controller just around the corner:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/19 ... witch-cont
It came without Midi cable though, need to solder one now…
I should program it as LinnStrument for the feet. An alternative to those organ foot pedals…

There should be more but that looks like all of them today.
Sound Parcel had the deal yesterday but it’s back to full price today.

I haven't purchased anything recently but I've been doing more asynchronous looping recently, so I plan to bring my Tyme Sefari mk2 and EHX 45000 out of storage. I haven't used either in more than a year, so it's kinda like new gear!

Anyone have hands on experience with a Pulsar-23?
I’ve been wanting one but after watching lots of the videos available I can’t tell if it’s worth it.
Part of the problem is seeing some use it to make traditional electronic drums sounds, which doesn’t seem to be its strength (and not needed here).
When I do see creative uses, the sound reminds me of what I can already do with either modular or Syntakt.
Is there something I’m missing?

I feel like Hainbach is my German brother, we would certainly get along with music and gear.
Would already have bought a Lyra 8 if it had midi syncing and didn't have other needs.

collecting speakers

Genelecs arrived today and I will be A-B ing them against my Rubicon 5as when the wires, shipped in a separate box
arrive Monday. Obviously bigger woofer for more low-end, but in a similar size.
Physically they remind me of my first monitors, the Yamaha MSP5 with their magnetically shielded enclosures, but they should be much better sounding.
