I haven't posted a pic since the first ones of my new machine last fall.

I'm not sure what's up with edges in that pic
anyhow not shown are my laptop, guitars and my boogie head/4x12. The cabinet under the window has my Marshall pre-amp with my presonus blue tube and ua5 (for my laptop) on top and the cabinet is now a dead box with a 10" speaker and an sm57.
The firestudio is pretty full, I have it set up so I can monitor my guitars while recording with fx (alesis midiverb4) but not recording the fx. On the floor is my new Radial /big Shot ABY box. I was using my Boss super chorus, but today I got the big shot. It let's me run an untouched guitar signal direct to my DAW for reamping. Theoretically I could send a signal to one of my amps thru the dead box, a signal from the POD xt live and the untouched signal to my DAW all at the same time. Add in the fx patch and if I am insane enough I can record 6 tracks of guitar (clean, amp, xt live out and xt live through the fx)

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I still think, your punctuation sucks, and your spelling isn't cool! So there...

thanks Lotus, that is a big ole' mouse
, the tascam us-2400 usb midi controller. tascam have since discontinued it but I must say I love that thing to death, motorized faders, 1 usb cable to the computer and it works like a charm, i've never had one problem with it ever, I use it for everything. no audio, control surface only, my soundcard is the motu ultralite

yes it will stand up to some heavy hitting, i've had the mpd 16, the triggerfinger, and the mpd 24. out of those the mpd 24 is by far the sturdious, that thing is like a tank, but it was heavier than my damn macbook and I didn't want to take it anywhere, the padkontrol on the other hand is light as can be, has better pad sensors, the xy is useful and stays with me, you don't even really notice it being in your bag. I do wish it had as many knobs as the triggerfinger and some small faders but as it is it's def a keeper, and editing on it is a breeze.musikmachine wrote:I didn't realize it was so thin.Whats the build quality like? Will it stand up to some crazy drumming?stale bread wrote:that's the korg padkontrol

the weird thing about the pictures though is that they're all reversed, i took them with my macbooks isight cam, for instance, the transport controls of the us-2400 and the padkontrol are actualy on the right side of the table not the left
