I know Deathpile - have sort of mixed feelings about his stuff. Like the sounds, find the subject matter a little old and overdone. I believe the first Deathpile recordings predate NTT, though I might be mistaken. Jonathan has also been active in/as Dead World, Blunt Force Trauma and Hollow Earth (the latter being one of the most blackly suffocating slabs of black ambience I've ever heard).

Not a big fan of shouty vocal death industrial myself, but it seemed like something you'd be familiar with.

i agree about the stereotypical serial killer fixation. You'd think people would get beyond that someday.

I'd heard of Blunt Force Trauma but not Hollow Earth, will have to look that up...
