i need some decent tripods/camera stands and another camera to make better use of it. but thats just a general thing anyway, one single static camera gets booooring![]()

When you upload to youtube with some of the new visuals will you post to let us know when we can find it? A pm here would be great if not too big an ask.

if on my page, you look at "live" set it to most recent, and the last id say 10 at least, are using new features, if not "shaders". (forgive the shoddy camera work, its just a test

They might have said a goal of January.vurt wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 4:48 pmhow the sampler with a name im not gonna bother even trying to spell going? ive had an email there are some coming soon, just wondering if its beyond beta yet?elxsound wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 6:22 pm I setup some new templates in Live to get myself going, plus updated some layouts in ProCreate (iPad App).
I don’t get to keep all my stuff out all the time, so I make these little setups in ProCreate using layers to turn on/off different arrangements.
This is important for when the brain wants to groove, but doesn’t want to remember where to plug things in.
*And I ordered a customized vinyl sticker for the patchbay, so that’ll help too.

It is becoming more stable and they do have some new features that are starting to make it a unique device. The highlights being added fx per mode, and a drift mode, with an alternate drift mode in the works.
The big things to come in a 1.0 release are midi sync, and use of the SD card for sampling direct to card, as well as saving states directly on the card. Use of the SD is what will set it apart for me in how often it gets used.
The sampling, including overdub, is super easy and even more so compared to Morphagene.

I feel like all of the dark ambient/drone on YouTube is made 100% by soft synths. I want to change that.

I'm not sure I should even bother posting, right now it's just the raw sound, but I have made a couple things (non-music drone) using the Plume which I bought earlier this year because it's a completely new synthesis technique. Basically, in burst mode, it shoots out bursts on the one channel and then the next at intervals you control with sliders. These bursts are similar, but not the same so you get really cool effects without effects as it were. I decided to add to the disparity of audio from the two channels by routing them to different things. One channel goes into Disting Ex's 'Augustus Loop' program and the other is split with one cable going into the mixer hard right and the other to my E490 filter witch is modulated by the VCO of Kobol and also a slow LFO triangle to go into resonance feedback (1v/oct, 2/3oct respectively) then into Desmodus Versio before the ADAT out pair. The result is great. Actually, listening to your thing above I bet you will love it. But I (we) are not normal.

I’m blessed to be busy right now:
I’m finishing the rough cut of a short film score which is also a ballet. There is a scene with two young ballerinas gong through a waltz together and whilst the score is typically written *after* filming, the tempo, beats, and structure for this waltz have to be locked in early.
As for today I just recorded a sort of jazz fusion gig involving a Chinese zither, percussionist and piano. The editing is simple because the goal was to capture the performance, not create an ultra polished record release. I quite like it though, it feels refreshingly organic.

I did a live/experimental modular jam with a very complex setup (or do you just call them patch).
Anyway, all kinds of percent probability and different times etc. Really like Messor on bass drum.
Also really like sending a mix into Desmodus Versio to get auto panning and levels right.
With my current modular rig I could do a fine IDM type live gig.
I think it's there
