When my credit score is at 32 (Which i believe is 32Months and 24 is 2.Years).

Looking forward to get the answer soon on how the Credit score number works.
Got a reply the 16.Aug when i asked and they asked what 2 more i want in my account.

But they surely know how to take their time as i still haven't received the other 2 yet and the last reply was that they would probably be added later this week (Last week).

Really frustrating experience
Has anyone else got their next 2-4 life yet?

Yes got them today after emailing them. Nice and helpful too. Shame my non cloud licences can’t be brought over though. I did ask.

Weird?
Sent them a mail again today and will see if i hear anything today.
Wonder why they delay it so much for me after asking which 2 i want.

I agree and wish my bought plugouts would be updated too but they do still work fine but the gui update version would have been great to have :tu:

909 day offer now up.. https://www.rolandcloud.com/909-Day

There's also a possible new Juno 60 model from them to add to cloud (after the recent announcements). But would likely be a while, even if it's planned for addition. Still no VP-03 either, which must've been released about 3 years back by now..

Post

They need to release the fantom and I'll be happy camper. Please release there's a patch on there I'd pay top dollar for.

Post

Upset because I thought 909 day would be JD990 day, but oh well :/

man i dont think 990 gets out this year anymore.... it got so slow lately :( or is the jd990 so complex? :D ahhhhhh

Long time listener, first time caller.

Been on the Cloud for nearly a year, thinking of keeping an SRX and the System 8 as they offer such massive flexibility between them. Honestly though, I'd have stopped my sub by now if not for that deal. When I first joined, it seemed there were new releases nearly every month. Now, we don't even get these trashy FLAVR things any more, just really odd sales incentives that are giving me a kind of iffy feeling about what's going on at Virtual Sonics. Who are they marketing for? Are they desperate for cash? Why no releases?

Interesting observations some pages back about who is doing what, between Roland and Virtual Sonics. So, we know that the 606 and VP-03 ACB code is ready to go. Yet, 6/06 was a bit disappointing this year...? And even with those two (Rolands) seemingly ready to go but nowehere to be seen, there hasn't even been any new FLAVR, TERA, or Concerto (Virtual Sonics) stuff in the interim either; just lots of new ways to take people's cash based on the existing line it seems. What's going on?

Whether or not the currently available sample library content is of any use to a serious musician, I do think the sampling sounds good enough that Concerto could reasonably take on Kontakt if developed enough, and that alone could justify perhaps half of the price of the sub. But they (Virtual Sonics?) just seem to have aimed for the lowest common denominator with the FLAVR stuff.

Netflix is not a fair analogy IMO as they have an virtually inexhaustible library of content that gets updated and rotated contantly. I'll never truly need it, but I do use it all the time. Roland have a finite amount of hardware to turn into Cloud content, even if they start making subsidiaries like Boss pedals as VST effects etc (BTW please Cloud folks, make this happen!). If they pushed out plugins the way Netflix does TV shows, they'd have nothing to drive their marketing by now. I used the Juno plugin on three singles this summer and jam on it a lot at home. I've never watched the same episode of Seinfeld twice... The way we "consume" the content is different between the two platforms.

I'd be cool with the radio silences on the release front if we were getting optimizations on the old stuff, like the high CPU loads, being able to quantize the filters to notes, or just being able to select which plugin formats to install so I can remove the VST3's without being prompted that my plugins are out of date (which support said they were working on it 6 months ago).

Unless anything changes between now and my first 2 4 Life deal I'll probably jump off at that point. With the System 8 and an SRX of choice - the only two that do things I can't get elsewhere (VCV FTW!).

Well. With all that off my chest; Any of the Roland nuts on here able to tell me - Do we now have ALL of the SRX waves in the Cloud? Very hard to tell what is what on the Cloud compared to the so-called "classic" expansions... Are there still more ROMplers to come? Also does anyone have any idea where the sampled Orchestral libraries are from?

Thx in advance for any responses on that.
