A few days ago I converted a list of the songs I want on the next album into .flac files to play in my car while driving. This is a zen way to figure out: 1. is the song order appropriate; 2. is the mix/master good enough in the poor listening environment of a moving car.

I hadn't done this in a while, but I really feel that's it's needed and already today I've found a problem with a mix of one so I will be going back and remixing/mastering a song.

getting to know the nuss modules and what they offer for me. not interested in poliphony (it's a fad) but i am interested in layering sounds and such, which im finding some interesting moments with polimaths and co, using 8 different sound sources.

Been trying to work out why my Bluetooth mouse wasn't connecting with my PC ... turned out the battery was dead.

I finally got Softube Central to download & install Model 72 Synthesizer System on my 'puter after weeks of trying and failing. My broadband provider said there had been a "stability" issue on my line, which they have now resolved. It sucks having no fibre connection out here in the sticks. My connection speed is now up to a blistering 3.2 MB

Yesterday I wanted to duplicate the bass I had done on a previous track and so I wrote down the settings on two channels and added them to the new one with small changes. So just utilitarian mixing stuff, never played any of my gear - sad.
Today I wanted to have some fun and do something new so I changed the firmware on my new Cosmos to the rhythmic one and connected the Edge to it. #1 is a standard looper, but #2 & 3 offsets the right channel by 7/8 & 1/4. Had a great jam session with very interesting results.

Completed a short video which took way longer than necessary, after recording a couple times without audio (seriously managed to do that more than once), then forgetting to return setting back to the starting point, then BlueBox not saving the data (it does not like having the SD card removed/returned without powering back up again) and then hungry cats.

All started from thinking hey, this was fun, let's make a video!

Still fun in the end.

Last night was for modular theorycrafting and drawing diagrams and digging through ModularGrid. But today I bought a used CVilization and rearranged my case.

The holiday was definitely a motivator for publishing

I want to try something again tonight too.

If I can get to it, I’d like to combine 0-Ctrl, Strega, with Space Station, Brinta and then Spotykach.

If I can get in without a copyright hit, I’d like to sample some Abbot and Costello that pairs well with the night.

Sorry I missed it! Our neighborhood was much busier this year than previous Halloweens. I was really happy to get to chat with more of our neighbors.
