Yeah. Not to mention you can get just as good a sound from a PODX3 for just a fraction of the price.

I'm not at all saying it does'nt sound great..it does..for
an amp SIM. I just have'nt yet heard anything I could'nt replicate,(or improve
upon!), with MUCH less expensive gear. Its just not worth the asking
price IMHO and there's no way I'd buy it. And I'd venture a guess most
guitarists would feel that way. Sure, there'll be a few well heeled
rockstars that just have to have the latest thing but I just can't see
the average working joe queing up to buy this thing. If I was going to drop that kind of scratch on an electronic guitar toy it would have be revolutionary, earth shattering, dare I say orgasmic...now a Roland VG99

Because speaker sims have always been the biggest weakness in modelers. Personally, as with many people who are gonna settle for an emulation, Im gonna use one of my real amps if I have to mic up.

There is no point in mic'ing up a modeler that expensive when you can just use your Real 3 channel head to cover your live set list

and last..I dont see how any search for an amp sim can be "over"(as the thread claims) if everyone is using a cabinet with it. The whole point of the paradigm is to emulate the whole chain
