no, i did not 'edit that part out'. i added more to my comment that "i have tried your software and in my opinion that is _not_ accurate modeling." if you'd care to look you'll see that sentence is in fact still there!
i haven't used the software, not on my own system, no. my ears have however been subjected to some of it's output and that is what i was referring to.

ok, so wait a minute, was it my post that said "do you guys actually believe what you're saying?" which you reference? if you'd care to explain exactly how i was attacking his position that would be fine. otherwise, you might note (i'm recalling from memory here) that i said "who would actually use those methods to model such a little titty filter? it is not necessary for these things to be so complicated and i think what i've already posted was already a good starting point." i'm not remembering exactly the rest of what i said, but i do not believe i was attacking his position. i may have stated that his position was _not_ a good starting point as even if i wanted to start based upon what they had said i could not without much effort.
also, my post referenced "you guys", as in almost all the posts which had already been made in the thread. if i had desired to attack andrew's position i would have said "andrew, i'm attacking your position, attack attack".
if those of us who have the memory of a 65-year old would like to go back and read the original post, we can.

so now we have it; aciddose will claim to have heard software, and slag off its quality, when he hasnt used it. he'll also claim to be able to comment on the emulation of original hardware, but he'll do so without having compared the actual software to the actual hardware. or necessarily used either.
