I couldn't even wait for the demo time limit to expire. Just had to make it mine!

This is a very interesting synth. It reminds me a quite a bit of the Steinberg Plex VSTi for some reason? But it is more Morphable and Probability based. Plus you can use the Screen like a Kaoss Pad for some Crazy Ass Fx and Scratch type sounds. If you have tried using it like that yet then you got to give it a try. It's a whole lot of fun.

It is an awesome synth. I've purposely not been demoing it but i'll have to grab it before crimmy if i want to take advantage of the microtonic crossgrade!

All those patches were made over 2 days, most of them in some hours. It was even the first day which i used Synplant. Try to do that with a "classical" synth. I think that programming so many different patches in the classical way is almost impossible, if you are not a genius in programming. After all this shows how efficient this new synthesis method and the interface really are !!

I agree completely... I read this thread before downloading the demo, and "Majken's" suggestions/tips (thankyou sooo much) were the first things I did, as well as 'assign' all things to controllers, and discovering the amazing mod-wheel "Heaven" available with this thing. Then came back here to read 'others' tips/tricks... Thank you all!Klemperer wrote:Indeed it doesMajken wrote:A small tip when creating presets is to first of all find a branch for your sound that has an interesting or good change/mutation. Retract the branch slightly and then clone it. Once that's done you adjust the modrange setting. This way you'll not only have a good basic sound but also an interesting change for all the branches.

I guess some of this info might already be in the manual, but hey.. maybe it'll help someone create presets that are more fun to use, who knows. Thank you, mate! The tutorial and the manual is pretty outstanding, but still in my fiddlings up to now I forgot to try your first suggestion here, and most probably would have found out without reading this by the end of 2049
.
What an AWESOME-COOL SYNTH!!!
Bought it.

I feel a little Omnisphreakish thing is starting to happen with this synth- and all user-influenced- nice!

I have written Sonic Charge and encouraged Magnus to make a patch-sharing forum/site.
I think it makes sense with all of the frenetic patch-making that this instrument inspires.

Any idea how to access these parameters in logic?metal wrote:Not correct. You can actually automate all 28 parameters.. in one of my tests with Synplant I tried stressing it by automating every parameter at the same time - trying to provoke a crash.. but I failed miserably at that - but the resulting sound-sequence was pretty whackkuniklo wrote:No, but you can get a ton of movement out of the mod wheel and velocity.XGmode wrote: When manipulating the genes, can those controls be automated?
Thx!
