Andrew as i said they were just some hoops i had on drive just for Dan, sorry that some of them were damaged goods mate, as it was just to tied him over as honestly im not good with piano or synth sounds and not affraid to admit it either. The extreme anaals of metal and most of its bastard offspring sub-genre's are my worldandy_cytomic wrote:Thanks for these Nekro, but I didn't process all of these since some of them were already badly compressed and so had wobbling artifacts in them. I processed the ones with the most dynamic range still in them:NEKRO.MACHINE wrote: Edit: here are some awful but dance like piano loops just to tied you over until you can get to your machine and if andy dont mind processing them

Sorry for going abit of topic here a little:
Subz - i will checkout your stuff mate; the nearest i get to 'dub/dubstep' is Scorn. Dont know if your into Mick's work as 'Scorn' or even if it is dub/dubstep to be honest as it has a definate industrial tinge to it also (and hell this guy was Napalm Death's Master Blastbeater way back when but like Justin Broaderick went on to more experimental work and how i got into Scorn in the first place), Still 2007's 'Stealth' record is stella in case you want to check out what im on about friend (some serious bass flex for sure i reckon you will dig) here is an example -

(watch your speakers wobble!)
Any tips on some decent dub my ears are missin out on? would be appreciated Subz (if you would be so kind man; as im open to new avenues at all oppoturnitys even more so if its supporting the UK underground be it metal or not from up here in manchester)
All the best to you all

Hmmm...let's see...what's a good thing to run through this thing...it's a Buss Compresssor; should it be a full mix snippet?

Definitely. Whatever you can contribute will be appreciated.bduffy wrote:Hmmm...let's see...what's a good thing to run through this thing...it's a Buss Compresssor; should it be a full mix snippet?

Dry would be ideal. My compressor can't fix the bad results of another compressor.bduffy wrote:My pleasure! Let me find some poorly compressed mix...andy_cytomic wrote:Definitely. OK, here we go:
MRRAYDIANT_v3-Dry4Andy.aif.zip
I don't have much lying around as I'm still porting from PC to Mac, but this one has pretty obvious dynamic differences, and I turned off all compressors. See if that works for ya, or I'll dig something else out!
Look forward to hearing it, I probably won't be around today, the wife and I are hosting a party, so I have to stop playing computer.
Happy New Years Eve!

Andy, this plugin is sounding great so far. Seems to be gathering a healthy following! I look forward to trying this out!
BTW, is the email link for you on KVR the best way to contact you or is there a different email address? Sometimes people use junk email addresses for their contact at a forum, so I wasn't sure. I sent an email to you through KVR, but will resend it if needed.
Cheers!

Now did you turn off all the compressors or just the compressors on the master buss? Seems like turning off all the compressors would be a little much, but something with no buss compression would be spot on.bduffy wrote:OK, here we go:

Would it? I don't know. There was pretty much only compression on the drum buss, and it was pretty heavy, so I felt it was best to leave it off. This track did not have a buss compressor on the 2-bus, so I figured it was a safe bet. But I could be wrong.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Now did you turn off all the compressors or just the compressors on the master buss? Request andy cytomic.........
It would be really nice if you made a vst3 version 4 all us Cubase/Nuendo users. It's such a pain in the butt having to make childbusses & all the other rubbish we have to do everytime we want to side somthing. Please save us.................

That means making two completely different code sets and maintaining them both. I doubt it has been built for VST3 already, so it would likely take some time anyways.parris wrote:Request andy cytomic.........

They where a bit too processed, but I like the second one he comped. Melody sounds a bit 90'ish dancy hehe (I still like that area in time, though)NEKRO.MACHINE wrote:
