How I really wouldn't have read this, <sigh>, Tim was a generous friend and he was an inspired sound designer, with my company too.
We exchanged so many e-mails, music and talk about Atari software. I will miss him ...., very sad day now. As tribute let's make a collection of his tracks, the ones he posted, he was a sesitive musician multi instrumentis, started also to play harp the past year.
Let's hear from him once more

Very sad. I exchanged quite a bit of e-mail with Tim over the past four years, and he was always very helpful and supportive. Interviewed him a couple of times for Wusik magazine. Not to mention, he was a stellar preset designer and the originator of some truly fine synths (M42, M51) that remain unrivalled to this day.

Oh dear! Truly sad news.
Quite a while back Tim said he would make some presets for my Synth once I got it into a usable state (which, due to a very large work load, I never did). I was really impressed by his patches for various synths when I was starting out and continued to love them and use them even as I got better at sound design myself.
Rest in Peace, Tim! We'll miss you...

Wow, this is as shocking and heartbreaking as I think I've seen here. I dealt with Tim a lot lately on the press side of things. He loved his work, he made great music and sounds, and his sonic fingerprints are in thousands of compositions around these parts.
Truly a sad time. My prayers go out to the family, both literal and figurative families. RIP.

The replies in this thread are truly a tribute to who Tim was and what he meant to so many of us. We will all miss him.

This is so sad. I knew Tim originally from the Atari Group. I've got a couple of his CDs too. He was a really nice guy and this will be a definite loss to the musical world.
