Correction/edit

The version number now shows on the front panel. The install version is from the installer version, so sorry about that.

Faced the same thing, had the thing in my cart, then faced the don't crack registration and turned away. Why would they ask for that information, certainly don't need that to process a purchase?

Just got the message from Nomad:

We tested your session and The DC problem is generated by your kick file. If you remove Magnetic and just use any limiter or compressor and add 30db (like the session you sent us), then you will see that the problem still exists. So, to help combat DC issues with problematic source material, we will be releasing a new version of Magnetic that has a built in DC Offset.

Like the support and how fast they found the issue. Also nitex already knew the problem.

On Win7 64-bit:
Cubase5 32-bit and Magnetic 32-bit v1.2.0 reports the latency, but Cubase5 64-bit and Magnetic 64-bit & 32-bit not. Is this normal?
Edit: Solved - press in Cubase "Update VST-Plugin" and "Update Plugin Information" or delete the Cubase database file "Vst2xPlugins.xml"!

but moving from x.0 to x.2 already just because of some fixes is a bit odd, isn't it?

First let me thank you for the great testimonials !

We received so many emails from customers asking if they can make a last minute jump on "MAGNETIC" or the complete Nomad Factory "Integral Studio Pack" that we were not able to close the promotion on December 13 as planned...

Latest release has affected compatibility with FL Studio. In Fl Studio 9, version 1.2.0 no longer functions/produces sound unless the wrapper setting 'process inactive inputs and outputs' is used.

I'm also getting a generic readout on the knobs. For instance '0.94' instead of '-2.0db'. Makes it harder to set the ceiling.

Nice to see it reports latency now

Hey audiosabre,

I can confirm that V 1.2.0 does not work for me either in Fl Studio 9.1. As soon as I insert it, there's no more sound. Raising the gain does nothing and the plugin has the power switch on. I just e-mailed Bernie about it and then came here and saw that you had noticed this problem as well. So it's not just me. Okay, will wait for V 1.3.0..

-edit- thanks for mentioning that wrapper work around. I also have to select "process inactive inputs and outputs" for some of the free Reaplugs. Weird that this didn't have to be checked before for Magnetic though. Perhaps Bernie overlooked something.. We'll find out soon..
