Angus Young edition maybe
on a more serious note, IK, please model Deacy amp! it doesn't exist anywhere else, you'll have a monopoly on Brian May's trademark orchestral sound!

A couple of words of critisims concerning the IK web site, from the user point of view:
1) IK has "developed" their site "modern" but for me, anyway, finding all the services in the user area, has become rather hard. If you choose the "user area", your don't nowdays find your products there. You get a big menu for "choose your mobile device". What the f***, is the site made just for the mobile users, where are all my 34 products, update info etc.? The only way ,so far, I've found my way to the user area services, is the choose "support" -> "create your IK user account". But I have created my account, I just wan't to go my account! How logic is that? If there are some other way to navigate to my products, updates etc., IK has hidden that very well. Who the f*** is behind this navigation implementation should get a kick in his ass. Change your site more user friendly, pliis.
2) Entering the IK site generates immediately boring noise, this is not cool at all but makes one to force clicking as soon as possible out of the front page. I work all day with sounds and music, I wan't to choose myself when I hear music and when I prefere the silence.

Just choose option "Other" from the mobile device dropdown menu and submit, you'll be redirected to your user area.Harry_HH wrote:If there are some other way to navigate to my products, updates etc., IK has hidden that very well.

That is the most well-hidden and unlogical way the get ones way own licensies!tronholic wrote:Just choose option "Other" from the mobile device dropdown menu and submit, you'll be redirected to your user area.Harry_HH wrote:If there are some other way to navigate to my products, updates etc., IK has hidden that very well.
Why the "mobile devices" and the sub-menu there is the path to the user area? Do they really believe in the IK that "mobile devices" is the heaven's gate and every user should understand that all the user assests are behind that definition? H.

I never had a problem navigating IK's website
I have a feature request, IK. Can you make all unpurchased custom shop gear NOT appear in Amplitube (or at least make an option to do so)? I have very few gear (and don't plan on expanding my arsenal), and picking whatever gear i have is very hard with all those pieces of gear standing in my way.

I had the same thought. They could enable device sniffing. Poor design.Harry_HH wrote:A couple of words of critisims concerning the IK web site, from the user point of view:

Very pleased to add Slash (and Hendrix update) to my collection. Loving the new Marshalls ... and the 1964 cabinets.
2 things that haven't seen as much mention in the Slash collection:
- The Slash X Chorus. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. (Really nice on the new Hendrix Silvertone
).
- The Slash Gate stomp. Probably because is resides inside Amplitube, this is one of the most effective gates I've used on a guitar -- default medium setting. This cleans up the noise and hiss on any amp -- wonderful on the Amplitube Metal collection and other overdriven noisy amps. I CCed the activate switch on a MIDI pedal (I like using a "volume" style CC pedal) to deactivate the gate for long sustains where I don't want the sound to cut out, but for 90% of my phrases I just leave it activated to make for a clean sound. Try it!

I like the chorus. I'm not a slash fan (sorry!) but that chorus is distinct to me and I like it for just playing chords. The only other slash I have is the silver jub, it's a tad harsh on the high end but very responsive so good for classic stuff (though that JH 45, will prolly take over

The Slash Boost stomp nicely drives a number of different AT amps - quite different than a Screamer does.ObiK wrote:Agreed, but I love Slash's Boost best out of his stomps....
BTW - I meant 1960 cabinets -- they match nicely with most AT amps. I never understood why they named amps and cabs by model numbers that appear to be years when there is no association (eg "Model 1959" Plexi -- made 1965-1981 or the 1960 cabinets). Strange.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, not David Gilmore the Jazz Guitarist.SJ_Digriz wrote:Pretty much everything that Gilmore uses is in there now isn't it?Echoes in the Attic wrote:Ok so now that you guys have done Hendrix twice, I think it's really time for David Gilmour Edition!
Well there's a High Amp, but I think Gilmour used several different ones over the years and plenty of different effects. Mainly I love how the Hendrix package had presets for different songs. I think that would great for Floyd songs.
