This one didn't make much noise, I haven't heard a peep on the web about it,or haven't seen any tangible product. What was the point of showing at a show, if the public doesn't get to check it out?

It was the first place anybody got to see iRig PRO (as it was - as we've stated repeatedly before and after - a consumer electronics show), thus had nothing to do with SampleTank 3 and from those that were there it made enough splash in the intended consumer electronics market as expected. We led no one to believe this would be ST3-related.trusampler wrote:Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Yes, IFA. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/events/?item_id=2836anxiousmofo wrote: IFA?

I can't hate on IK - everything I got (and still use) my IK stuff. They still get regular use out of me. And all of my IK products were obtained at great prices. They generated alot of good will with me.
Despite the 32 bit thing - I've overcome that by sampling my ik stuff for use in 64 bit applications (or via bridge).
Been very happy with the T-racks stuff, even bought the high quality book on mixing with T-Racks.
Looking forward to Sampletank 3 - the only "out-there" request I have is linux vst support.

Things change, unfortunately but it can still happen it was just "retracted" by pointing out it won't be available when SampleTank 3 is released. Feel free to wait for it, others will want and enjoy all of the OTHER great things that this major upgrade brings to the table by making music with it in the mean time and see 64-bit compatibility as the icing on the cake that it is. We're working hard on SampleTank 3 as we enter the home stretch and will share any news as it is available.donato wrote:Kinda quiet here.
How's the progress with the very much implied, then retracted after all the fire-sales free player coming along?

not again, thanks.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Feel free to wait for it
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

actually, cant wait... hopefully i will be playing with Sampletank 3 on X-MAS day provided that the upgrade price for long term customers is between $99 to $129...

So you wouldn't prefer under $99?neverenoughfunk wrote:actually, cant wait... hopefully i will be playing with Sampletank 3 on X-MAS day provided that the upgrade price for long term customers is between $99 to $129...
Actually I can't imagine IK putting anything into Sampletank 3 that would make me want to part with $99 or over for the upgrade from the current VI's, so that would very likely turn me into waiting mode. I guess we'll see.
