yes,
but some of us had the good idea to listen to the song as they were submitted... It wont be that hard.
I already have a quite stable rough ordered list.
cheers

I'm pretty excited about the results. Love to Bram and mdsp for their hard work and dedication to this competition. It was a great idea and I'm looking forward to the next competition. ;)Bram, I had mentioned this in my entry comment, but I've uploaded a collection of precessed sounds I used (or didn't use) to create my track for the competition. There's some really good, usable material in the .ZIP file. Essentially, I've taken the RAW data and processed that several times over, clipping out the interesting bits. Some are rhythmic some are not... none of them sound like their RAW predecessors.
Here is the file: http://bluebeep.allied.org/smex_sounds_by_mpg.zip (http://bluebeep.allied.org/smex_sounds_by_mpg.zip) (4.64 MB)
The server is quite slow because it gets a lot of traffic, so be gentle and patient. Feel free to email me if you have any questions or comments about this stuff. If you're not friendly, I will not respond. musicismath@charter.net (mailto:musicismath@charter.net)
Cheers to all who participated.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say "thanks" to all of you who took the time to experiment a bit with our stuff and submit a song! I've listened to almost all of them by now and I must say there are some very nice ones in there! Ah, but I can't tell you which ones of course
And as Bram said: we'll have several rounds of voting with the lot of us (unless we all choose the same ones as "best", but I can't imagine that happening). Some more patience and we'll bring in the drum rolls when we're there
Thanks again for your efforts!

nice rhythm, amazing ambience and i like the lead-sound really much!
here's our entry bitmud - SMEXtroverted
btw. bram, like marcelus wrote in the other thread i also used my name (Milan "R.A.W." Franzkowski) for the entry but we are a band (called "bitmud" - what a coincidence
).. so i also would like to see it changed in the list.
