Yes, I would really appreciate a longer decay time on the sine and the 808. As PB seems nicely suited for classic 808-style Jungle/DnB subbass-lines, and sometimes a single subbass note can exceed 1 bar. Maybe that´s not exactly the target group you had in mind... but why not?Oliver Schmitt wrote:is the possible decay time really too short for you ?![]()

1. drugndrop support
2. curve decay for every generator, not only for sine wave
3. one extra knob for pitch control in notes for every generator.

you know... if I had to make a list of the worst things about my studio, the lack of direct sample loading via drag and drop in punchbox would probably make the cut.
any chance you guys can make the update by the end of 2017?

.... I've been getting back to punchbox from time to time because all the other kick synths are crap. But I do wonder why punchbox's synth engine is so limited. If I load up a sine wave into battery and use just ordinary build in pitch modulation: attack and decay, I get quite punhcy kicks itself(808ish but with the lo body part) and I can't reproduce it in punch. The "body" of the kick in punchbox is always too high. And it's strange because seems like you tried to make it as flexible as it could be but it's not. It'd be great to have just ordinary attack and decay for the pitch.

My very un-technical review of punchbox:
I demoed then purchased punchbox about a week ago. I gotta say that the sound quality is amazing. It beats out any kick sample pack I own. Most of the presets are hard hitting, and hit the sub bass just right. They sound very professional and are they types of kicks you can base your whole track around because they sound that good.
Highly recommend!

Strange, to me it's the opposite, the synth engine seems tacked-on in PB. Look at Bazzism, there's 4 times the amount of controls.akward wrote:And it's strange because seems like you tried to make it as flexible as it could be but it's not. To d16... failing to deliver on promised, much-needed updates without justification like you've done with LuSH and now PB is a sure-fire way to thin out your fan base. Quadrupling the latency of the new versions of your FX plugins for no valid reason also won't help at all. The new delay is cool, but I hope the thread in here made you realize that at this point, nobody gives a damn, everyone already has 50 delays. What nobody has is drag n drop import in PB so that the software feels like it belongs in this century.

Amazing synth, I just bought it and very enjoying.
There is one issue though. The distortion module is very unstable. It's not static. The transients are changing with every hit and volume (after distortion plugin) is variable (every hit can have different volume). It's kind of funny, but I want my kicks to be stable.

Don't be like that man. There's so much good shit you miss if you don't record your sessions. And the more complicated you make your patches, the less likely you'll get what you want the second or third time around. Might not even init properly on project reload or when the host resets the timeline. Sample that shit!Igro wrote:yesGamma-UT wrote:The art of sampling is dead, apparently.
