#1: Repro-1 (great GUI, great sounds, just works)
#2: iWavestation (iOS) old but gold and a million times better workflow plus additional features compared to the VST/AU
#3: ArpOddyssei (iOS): The unison just sounds so fat and the other emulations sucks against this
#4-..... there are some other even more interesting releases but they are in a kind of bug beta (or even alpha) phase and i don't see them as "released in 2016"

I tryed Oddity 2 but i find the Arp Odyssei a lot better in terms of sound and especially GUI.exmatproton wrote:? you mean on iOS others suck? Because we have the Oddity2 as wellCinebient wrote: #3: ArpOddyssei (iOS): The unison just sounds so fat and the other emulations sucks against this
Of course i wish i could have ArpOdyssei as AU/VST....but that will not happen

I am finally starting to channel my list down. Needless to say I am not at all surprised that Repro-1 is considered tops here. It is so incredibly fantastic and really takes the original to a new height.
Will try to post my favs by next week. Fun read here.

Repro-1
The Legend
Repro-1 gets the edge because of the Pro One's modulation and how well modeled it was, along with the additional effects. Both are on par quality wise for me, and I might even use The Legend a bit more in productions.

Out of the ones I tried - ArcSyn, Repro-1, Phonec 2, Icarus, The Wiggle - I bought ArcSyn.
Weird because my first impression was "NI Massive wannabe with a questionable GUI" but it quickly grew on me due to its "silken to screaming sonics" and reasonable CPU hit.

Several spectacular synths came out since the OP. Repro-1, Legend and MODO Bass. Synclavier V is still the 2016 favorite with MODO bass coming in a close second.

Would be nice to have a 'finished' version of 1 at least, but then it's not the only plugin in permanent beta (eg Serum)Numanoid wrote:What happend to Poly-Ana 2 ?
