Stop crying you whiners, buy a damned ilok already. My R2 is already parked and processing my latest recording. That mofo sounds sweet and filled in a gap for me in my, admittedly excessive, reverb collection.

Looks like it won't work with i-lok licence manager. So that's $50 (£40) for an i-lok which given it seems that more and more people have now extended to i-lok manager (Eventide, Soundtoys) may mean that it's effectively $50 for that plugin which I'm guessing is getting a bit old.

Are there any other current plugins that require the dongle?

Yeah, that's a total bummer. Hope Exponential Audio change their mind in the future and at least give an option to activate license on the computer, without a hardware dongle.

i got 2 audio interfaces from focusrite, not yet registered

1. when i register 1, do i get the offer now?
2. do you get once a product at the registration month or do you get every month a free product even if you already got a freebie at registration?

Man this freebie. Have no need for an interface but tempted to buy the cheapest one just for the plugin.

Very nice! I've purposely never demoed R2 because I didn't want to have that GAS feeling... Getting this for free feels like joining the Dark Side, because if I like this as much as I expect to, maybe I'll want the rest of his plugins.

You only get one per account, even if you have 20 registered interfaces. You get instant access to the current offers once registered. You get the freebies anytime they offer them.

I think you can get it now. I registered when I saw the Eventide Stereoroom give away. Unfortunately I had one of those serial numbers that could be read at least 3 or 4 different ways so it took me a while to do but I was able to get the plugin currently on offer. I can't get those before.

Looking at the i-lok site and seeing that most of the companies I would be interested in allow just the free manager I think I'll pass. It's easy enough to transfer to a new PC when I get a new one as far as I can tell.
