Here's how in Reaper>>> 2 Tracks, Trk_1 with 3100 Trk_2 with audio (I loaded drum loop for test)
Route/send audio from Trk_2 to Trk_1 on channels 3/4 ... in Trk_1 set 3100 inputs to accept audio from inputs 3/4... turn 3100_ext.input up. Looking at the 3100 patch/signal flow there is an up and down arrow... it seems this is where the audio arrives... so good from the resonators on ward so includes the ensemble ..
wel it works for me... In Live I would try similar, I guess .. as to other DAWs I have no idea...

I'm on Reaper as well but I still don't get it. I route the audio to the Track with 3100 and turn up the external signal, but I don't get any sound. How do I know that it is connected to the inputs of 3100?

I'm experiencing some "bugs" in 64Bit Reaper Windows 7.

Instances (sometimes new) of FB-3300 will randomly drop out or not load up. Sometimes only an oscillator, sometimes the whole synth. Kind of like the Thorn issue before it's update...but different

OK.. to get the audio into 3100 now, you open the Reaper synth window... up in the right top you will see the following.. the "+" , "Param">> oh I love this one, so much magic performed from this pop_up

) and the "in/out" pop_up... this is the one we want...
open it... it will show on the left
1-> [filled] [clear]
2-> [clear] [filled]
+
click the "+" and now do this>>> 1->[clear] [clear] 2->[clear] [clear] 3->[filled] [clear] 4->[clear] [filled]
This has now routed the audio from sending track on channels 3/4 to FB3100 on same channels, if you followed earlier example... Actually, it will do the same on chanells 1/2 with out this routing... I just always use other channels for this type of thing>> bit like side_chaining...

Still not finished 105 voting... enjoying listening sometimes quiet a few times to each track... great to hear how we have each interpreted the Thorn.
The FB synths take me back in time.... keep a hand free from playing to twist them dials and make it sing... even the patched_semi_modulars..
Around this time I had a Roland System 100 (modules 101/102) loved it.. and the other synths that were doing the rounds for those not able to afford "M" "A" or EMS was Korg ofc )))
Well done Bjorn... these are pretty damn good replications of the real deal>> I notice you have a few Korgs... how about the Roland sys 100... no one has really done this except Roland... could I plant the seed of an idea there

Busy month for me in December.. not sure I can join OSC this month (((

I think Taron is right. Why do you thought that you can't use the three synths. There are people, like copperperson, who submitted his track utilizing the three synths without problems, as far as I know.
Also bjporter wrote in the One Synth Challenge web "As noted above: You may use the 3100, 3200, or 3300".
I have not read anywhere that you have to choose one among the three synthesizers indicated.

I used the kick someone here provided as kick and a snare. .

There are some effectors as reverbs and limiters.. Other than that.. A delay.. A fruity pan o matic..

And that is pretty much it..

I'm pretty sure the "or" was confusing part in the "you may use 3100,3200 or 3300".

Would probably have sounded strange to say "3100, 3200 and 3300", hahaha...

So far I have tried to make something using only FB3300. Let's see how it will turn out. Few ideas and unfinished composition with few odd transitions, but I'll figure out them soon
