The new Patch randomizer in the Wavestation is a lot of fun! There are so many cool and weird 90s textures that it generates. Sounds that would normally take so much effort to create with this synth.

M/P was the only plugin in which you could automate FX. Well ok, and ARP Odyssey too.c_voltage wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:42 pm Installation \ scan \ loading had been without problems (Win10), but found that the all parameters of the new FX sections (incl. in\out sliders) can't be automated. Except those instruments where this FX section was already before (MonoPoly) - here fx's parameters can be automated as before.
Bad a bit.
I suppose since it's the same MDE-X added to MS-20 and Polysix as it is in M/P, maybe they could add automation if enough people request it. Or you could, you know, just load MDE-X separately and automate the hell out of it.

Well, not a big problem ofcourse, but, since they added this anyway, why can't be done the same thing as in MP. But ok.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:55 pmM/P was the only plugin in which you could automate FX. Though, i'm not exclude that it can be like some issue, because when we turning any fx parameter (in MS20 for example) we see response in form of unique ID in automation info field (i use S1 v4) called like "Parameter 194" etc, but what strange, we don't see this axis in list of parameters.
While in MonoPoly we see it as "Unknown" parameter, which can be captured nevertheless.
Upd But frankly i liked new UIs

Oh I didn't even know they rolled out their own software pass thingy. I see the updates now. Thanks.fmr wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:30 amQUOTE from Korg site:dumbledog wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:20 am It's got rescaled GUI like we've been screaming about for years.
Looks like that'll cost $200 for existing users tho, although I could certainly be reading wrong as their shop upgrades are so dang weird.
Update now!
Users who have already purchased the KORG Collection series can update to version 2 for free.

I can't believe they've finally updated the collection. I've been waiting for this for four years (and that's not a long time compared to some people). I thought George RR Martin was writing the code.
The updates look very nice and were basically what I'd been hoping for. I can't wait to use Mono/Poly without the assistance of my computer's Zoom/magnifier. I wish I was joking.

Have you left the Preview button (top right) on?Vortifex wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:53 pm Yeah something's not right with Wavestation. I just loaded it into a project and it's playing a sequence over and over, even if I switch presets![]()

The updates may not be perfect, but given that they're free for current owners (like me) I'm certainly not complaining about this serviceable upgrade. Hey, it's better than them not doing these updates. Overall, I'm happy.

mmmh...Korg Pass.
Active connection still required for using the plugins, or just for activating?

I'm not sure how the activation process works now! I have already installed the "migrated" products before, then I deleted them. Anyway, I got stuck with "Korg user net" as it appeared just one product registered, but luckily I could login in Korg website using my Korg ID login
So, when I downloaded/installed the products now, it didn't ask for anything! Maybe it already retrieved the info from Windows Registry? I don't know. My computer is online, so I wouldn't know if they checked online or not (behind my back).
Anyway, although I prefer now offline authorisation, I still have other software that require online authorisation/activation.

I'm thrilled about this update! It's what we've been asking for for years now. I think the new UI's look fantastic. And, lucky me I guess, no glitches with MS-20 or Wavestation -- everything running smooth so far.
