On another note, I had mentioned before that drumvolution still had a few more per-lane controls… I just downloaded an update recently, no idea when they added it, but there are a few additional lanes for pitch and other controls, really useful. Thanks wave alchemy!

Did they send an alert regarding the update? Is it updated via Native Access?chroma wrote: Sat Jun 18, 2022 9:14 pm On another note, I had mentioned before that drumvolution still had a few more per-lane controls… I just downloaded an update recently, no idea when they added it, but there are a few additional lanes for pitch and other controls, really useful. Maybe somebody can help me out here. Triaz is my go-to drum library these days. The only thing I don't like, and it's why I'm leaning towards MODO Drums, is this: Whatever velocity you hit a snare, high hat or whatever, the sound stays the same. It doesn't bother me so much because I'm composing dance/psychill/ambient, but still.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

im so confused by this, modo drums is physical modelling of 'real drums', triaz is a sample sequencer with 'production' drums. i only demoed triaz, still waiting for it to be resizeable but if you play in your drums it should respond to velocity unless you toggle full velocity somewhere and you can also set the velocity of each hit in the sequencer.

Yes I was going to say velocity can be set for volume and filter cutoff for each drum individually.

I was thinking of picking up Triaz at some point but if it's true that it doesn't respond to velocity then I think I'll pass.Boy Wonder wrote: Sat Oct 08, 2022 6:51 am Maybe somebody can help me out here. - Look for pictures
- See the word Velocity written multiple times in the interface
- re-evaluate your decision-making process

Of course it responds to velocity! It has a knob per each drum channel.seangm wrote: Sat Oct 08, 2022 4:05 pmI was thinking of picking up Triaz at some point but if it's true that it doesn't respond to velocity then I think I'll pass.Boy Wonder wrote: Sat Oct 08, 2022 6:51 am Maybe somebody can help me out here.
