Recorded a looping bit with the UBass, patched a glitchy pitch-following part to go with it in Bitwig Grid and a complimentary noise drone in Noises. I have a general plan for what other parts to add to record another night, when I'm not so worn out.

Going to bed early like this probably means I'm going to be up before the sun, but the alternative is getting coffeed up and staying awake until 2 AM, recording a shit track, and then hating the entire universe when I have to get up for work.

Just completed a new tune (for the most part).
This project has become clear in what it is, what is required, and the production will be.

Will be posting a first track shortly, not here.

Got a vocalist lined up to do some "Screamin' Jay Hawkins" style vocals.
Should be interesting.....

Been working with ways to add vocals using samples that doesn't sound predictable.

Created a couple new sample library's of voices with that in mind.

Working on a tune with them now.

Manipulating 'found-sounds'. Finally remembered to record my apartments elevator screeching/scraping/moaning sounds, as it approaches the lower two levels. Only happens when it is going down, and it's loud enough to be a bit disconcerting. Really cool sound though.
