I got it when it was on sale for ~$40 iirc just for the vocal/vowel filter. I like it, but yeah, the gui/workflow could use some work and a sophisticated sequencer would be a welcome addition.

I think developers need to ditch the whole "making software look like hardware" paradigm. It was cool back when hardware was still better than software but now things have changed. In trying to make GUIs resemble hardware, we miss out on more efficient workflows. A good example of a company that understands this is FabFilter (among many others), and it's fine.Cuauhtli wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 3:08 pm I got it when it was on sale for ~$40 iirc just for the vocal/vowel filter. Haha, yeah the vowel filter in lush is pretty dope. Look up lush 101 vowels on YouTube and hopefully one of my videos pops up, I tweak it and create some very interesting vowel sequences.Cuauhtli wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 3:08 pm I got it when it was on sale for ~$40 iirc just for the vocal/vowel filter. Just checked it out. Pretty cool. I've just used the arpeggiator with it and haven't gotten as in-depth with it yet.Touch The Universe wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 3:31 pm Haha, yeah the vowel filter in lush is pretty dope. True. The CS-80 emulations are probably the worst.Scoox wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 3:22 pm I think developers need to ditch the whole "making software look like hardware" paradigm.
