i kind of understand what it does, but not how, or what any of the technical stuff they talk about means?
tbh, i did think it was outside the scope of your rack, but wasn't sure if you'd caved in like me

ah it was still private when i clicked, them got busy sorting out and playing with bopp n steve.foosnark wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:03 pmI was kind of thinking "this is extremely cool but do I really need it?" a few minutes after the Make Noise video. And then I watched Sarah Belle Reid's video, where she uses it for audio stuff, as well as some extremely excellent examples of using it on manually played parts and joystick stuff... and the answer is yes.
I decided it'll replace my seldom-used Xaoc Koszalin.
I want one of those shirts... I'm seriously going to ask them to make some as part of the Multimod promo vs Universal Synthesizer System promo.foosnark wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:53 am I do want a MAKNOS t-shirt.
And Source of Certainty would actually be useful for some things...![]()

ill have to give it a watch!
i saw you asking about audio, but no reply. look forward to seeing the results!
sarah has chapters, forbidden patches is where the real fun is, although she does explain the functions in a way i understood a little better than the launch video. or maybe she just confirmed what they said, either way after both videos i feel less mystified but just as excitedelxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 4:00 am
I need to watch their videos soon but they look way tooooooooo long for that much talking.![]()
I’ll check them out today. Let’s see if I have the attention span to digest what they cover.vurt wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 2:24 pmsarah has chapters, forbidden patches is where the real fun is, although she does explain the functions in a way i understood a little better than the launch video. or maybe she just confirmed what they said, either way after both videos i feel less mystified but just as excitedelxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 4:00 am

which is pretty much what sarah coverselxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:40 pm
What’s missing from the manual, is how it processes audio. To me this is the greatest thing and goes back to what Shabs always says about getting modules that can do more. So not just an LFO, not just a crazy Mult, but also an audio effect x8.
I'm just saying its weird its not covered in the manual when it does it so wellvurt wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:52 pmwhich is pretty much what sarah coverselxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:40 pm

from using it as an oscillator to a pitch shifting delay!
I keep wondering how much of this has to do with Behringer.justin3am wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 4:38 pm I've been watching the videos for MultiMod and I certainly think it's innovative but I'll probably pass. Make Noise has been doing a lot of cool stuff lately. Glad they are pushing the envelope instead of retreading the same old ground. Some of these new designs remind me of the outside the common paradigm thinking of folks like Keen Association and destiny+ but, of course MakeNoise are much more accessible (in terms of actually buying stuff and understanding what the thing does).
indeed, but im sure someone (may have even been sarah) said the manual is a work in progress. i havent looked yet, going through bopps manual so far.elxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 4:14 pmI'm just saying its weird its not covered in the manual when it does it so wellvurt wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:52 pmwhich is pretty much what sarah coverselxsound wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:40 pm
