One of your tracks in the OSC is one of my favorites: Yuki 1//First Lap Explorations, is very memorable to me. Last may sting now, but you will make other tracks that will rise. I just relistened to your 191 track and I like it, I think it's that the competition is tough, but I see all OSCers as winners in the end: Who else makes a complete track using a single synth? Well, I'm sure they are out there, but the OSC is a cool and rare thing to be a part of. I look forward to hearing your tracks in future OSCs.
Ah, thank you. Yeah that is my favorite track i've made for OSC.

Yeah someone has to get last, if it's me, so be it but it still stings. I'll try harder next time. Does the overall group taste seem to skew more towards like...European EDM? I think that is some of my least favorite music despite loving synthesizers, LOL.

I would like to get Novum by Dawesome as my prize. Thanks a lot!
Sorry but the Dawesome prize has already been selected this month. Would you like to choose something else instead?

Oh haha, but that was Myth. So it's per month 1 choice of any Dawesome plugin? My fault that I didn't get that right. I am a Dutchy and not a native speaker as you know.
In that case I am most happy to get Biospace by Luftrum. It was a difficult choice anyway whether I would go for either Novum or Biospace. So I am happy either way. Thanks Richard!

What a nice surprise to be here  .
I am happy my track got some nice reactions.

For my prize I pick 2 soundsets from the unfinished:

Zebra Refrakt II - Dark & Expanded
Colossus V

Thank you very much.

If you look back, tracks from completely different genres win, so you don't have to strive for something popular by others, especially if you don't love it yourself) Good luck in the next challenges!

Can he get Nakst Altitude as I know he liked the other Nakst plugins.

Thanks
This would be great also can i get https://thefxbproject.bandcamp.com/albu ... tes-unique

as a seconday, sorry i was away on holiday and only just got back.

I've yet to listen to all the tracks too!

Hah, any of you all are only last because I didn't enter :) I lack the perseverance to dot all the Is and cross Ts, my stuff tends to lack transitions and dynamics and I fail to finish off a lot of pieces.

I've only participated in one OSC and it was a synth I really struggled with (Waverazor). I could not bend it to my will, and the couple nice sounds I got were sorta by accident. That said, because I knew a bunch of people were going to be listening critically it was good for me to do it! I may try it again when my schedule is less hectic, which should be good news for any of you on the back end of the bell curve lol! :)

Seriously, it's a great exercise for amateurs like me and as a possible consumer of these plugins, you couldn't ask for a better stress test.

Exponent’s Superheroes is awesome - listened to it twice in a row 👌

Any rap beat winners?

I really liked your song and I'm baffled it came last.
I gave it 4 points - which is big thumbs up from me. I reserve 5 for my very favourites. I put 4 and 5 into my personal playlist to listen again (many times!).

Don't be disheartened.

I think you might have dropped some points because it doesn't quite have that pro sound (not that it bothered me). Feel free to post prototypes in Discord if you want some feedback before submitting.

I would say this: if you remove rap from a rap song, then everything else can sound like completely different music in some other genre. Add synth solos on top of it, and I think I've heard something similar in OSC many times)

And on the other hand, you can put a recitative on some tracks, even if they weren't intended for that. Beatmakers are generally very creative in adapting a wide variety of genres. I haven't listened to all the winning tracks for all time, but it could have happened.

I know, i am too late ....

Zebralette 2 is a bit like a chameleon.

I wanted to make some music for the legendary OneSythChallenge (KVR OSC #191). Too little time - not finished.
Nevertheless, the first attempts turned into more
Maybe you can hear what crazy and wacky and normal, flattering sounds you can get out of the good old Zebralette 2. But I still can't mix.
I still take my hat off to this instrument aka the developers!

DAW: StudioOne 7
43 x Zebralette 2
3rd party plugins: Raum, ZRev, MSED, ProQ4, LinearPhaseMB, L1+UltraMaximiser (each only once)
Some presets come from OSC #105, others from the FactoryLibrary and the rest is all head scratching anyway.
Automations only for volume and pitch on some tracks.
Otherwise I only used DAW's own effects (ProEQs, Compressors, DualPans, Gates, OpenAirs, Beat/Analogue/GrooveDelay).
That's how it sounds and it's intentional that some ‘instruments’ sound like a crumpled tape recording ....

Have fun .... :)
