i'm looking for some kind of freeware vst denoiser...
is there any available ?
it is not to post-process files in audio editors, but to eliminate floor noise while recording live hardware synths...

You can actually get denoiser software that runs in real time. I don't know if it's available in a VST, but it does exist. I'm also pretty sure you can get it as a free-standing piece of hardware, much like Auto-Tune is available in hardware as well as a software plugin.

well... thanks, mcLilith, but i do already have a hardware denoiser in my homestudio, what i want is a software vst to use live.
i know Waves Restoration bundle, it works real fine, but it is DirectX and far too expensive... !

For the benefit of someone who doesn't know what you are referring to, why don't you specify? You posted to say your fx was left off a list, and that prompted me to look for it. Look for what though? Where?

I am currently using a plugin called tape stop
it has the option of realtime and offline
I have no idea what this means and I am curently trying to figure out how to use it since it doesnt work like normal plugins that u just adjust it hte way u like it and then save taht as a preset and ur set

can u xplain this a bit for me plz??

The limiter(buzmaxi,and buzVintagemaxi, I think) and the Compressors(Grancomp & Genecomp, I believe) are AWESOME...great compression... IMO nicer than Waves C1,C4, and LinMB AND T-Racks Compressor unit.....all of which I own and paid good money for. Snap these up b4 the developer gets news of how nice these sound and starts charging....!....

I'd like to just throw down a big for the SimulAnalog JCM900. If you don't have something really serious like Trash, try this one out, particlualry on bass synth with the Hi Gain channel maxed.

This has got to be one of the best amp emulators going.

Their Tube Screamer ain't bad either.

My Bobnoxious alpha released plug
is free.

It is made with Synth Edit, with a basic primitive SE GUI.

2 parallell filters that are routed to separate stereo width modules and then to a smooth module (that can make it sound lo-fi). And a parallell dry
stereo signal.

I think of it as a stereo width plug where I can filter out what frequencies I like to make wider times 2.

Use on your own risk! This is a alpha release.

I have made 16 presets when using it as a mastering effect.
