Thanx for checking, EnGee! But unfortunately C/R from small developers kills my GAS in the blink of an eye. And I (almost) never pay full price for software anyway.

Well, you might find it a little bit cheaper 2nd hand in the market, but I wouldn't be worried about the protection really if I were you. Synapse Audio is a friendly and helpful company, so their support would solve any problem you have I guess
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

This is the single greatest plugin instrument ever made. It represents a turning point in history. An achievement which will never be toppled because it was first. The Legend will be remembered as a landmark point in history, the point in which humanity through use of technology were finally able to perfectly recreate the vibe and feeling of the original Model D subtractive analogue synthesiser in a digital format. The Legend really feels alive like it has circuits with electrical current running through them and old oxidising caps.
Who can remember the old Steinberg Model E? Look how far we have come.

Hmmm, not sure I agree with you...
I think Monark and Diva were turning points, but if you restricting it to Model D, I think Monark was the turning point.. Not taking anything away from Legend, it still is a fantastic emulation, I just wouldn't call it the first fantastic emulation.

From what i can say... lovely filter, really "thick" and poundy sound, very fast, snappy envelopes, and, for the Minimoog, there's surely also a big factor or accessibility, and play-ability, which makes it easy to use it on stage. Anyway, if Moog in general isn't for you, then it's surely difficult to bring the merits near. For me, they manufacture some of the finest, if not THE finest analog synths of them all.Halonmusic wrote:Ive never understood the whole Moog hype. Whats so good about it anyway?

Im not a fan of that filter tbh. Also they seem to costs a lot more than other synths that can do exactly the same.chk071 wrote:From what i can say... lovely filter, really "thick" and poundy sound, very fast, snappy envelopes, and, for the Minimoog, there's surely also a big factor or accessibility, and play-ability, which makes it easy to use it on stage. I absolutely disagree. TC Electronic Mercury-1 is still the best!v1o wrote:This is the single greatest plugin instrument ever made. It represents a turning point in history.
