Darn beta testers coming in here to brag about toys I'm not allowed to play with yet!

You're just lucky I don't have a Poly AT keyboard (at least, not after the Seaboard 25 died) and I'm too lazy to program it by hand.

To tease some more.
I don't' have a keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch yet (never owned one thus far), mine has channel pressure.
Anyway this is a patch (BL Endeavour from ZenSound Virgo bank) I tweaked a little (added some delay so it doesn't end so abruptly and applied the ability to affect volume and filter cutoff via aftertouch/channel pressure,..
Clearly not meant to be a good composition, but an audio example... the arp is on, the patch was created that way.
This is the patch without any channel pressure or velocity variation..
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1c6yy7koyu9s5 ... y.mp3?dl=0
Now manipulating it in real time only by varying the initial velocity of the midi notes I play and the channel pressure in real time, holding block chords.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/rqrgio6eg9p9y ... e.mp3?dl=0
as usual with kvr, you have to open a new tab with the links to hear them.
Clearly with polyphonic aftertouch, where i can choose which selected notes to apply aftertouch with at any point that would be even more impressive to me...(already impressed as is)

Coming soon tm
It is amazing.
Can't wait till Patrick releases it.
I assume it fixes the bugs you reported as well?
And that new _____ makes it so much easier to work with for me...and that you can change the size of the _____... Brilliant.

Yeah the Arp bugs, and portamento seems better now in Arps.
And there was some bug with round robin voice allocation not actually cycling through voices
The other thing I requested was poly aftertouch to mod wheel depth, which he will hopefully add later on.

Great.
I think if you can suggest a way to do that without adding any knob or slider or switch to the current gui it will be implemented.
After years of speaking to Patrick, I think that is one of the things he is always reluctant to do. Add another knob, slider or switch to a mature product.

Yeah, but you kinda need pressure to modulation/vibrato.
It's the whole thing with aftertouch, so you don't need a spare hand to access the mod wheel
Also poly pressure doesn't appear to be working in current test version with arps like it did in the previous version when it was inverted.
Something broke, now it seems to get stuck and no longer works per note.
Channel pressure works fine though

One thing I want is to turn the Upper/lower buttons into toggle switches so you can edit upper and lower parts together at the same time.
So you can tweak both in real time if you have the same patch panned left/right for stereo sounds

well most recent one.
Copy and paste doesn't work for real time tweaking of both upper and lower at the same time though.
I've lost count of the number times I thought I was editing the upper patch, when I was really in the lower and messing thing sup.

Oh you mean real time tweaking whilst u play.
I forgot what the panel button does, I guess that isn't it.
I got a build last night that had an issue and got another one this morning that fixed it.
Hopefully it was not my fix that broke your poly aftertouch as I only use channel aftertouch.

Version 1.7.1 / 14.06.2023
New improved preset browser.
Poly aftertouch support (channel pressure support for the arpeggiator).
Note based velocity support in the arpeggiator.
Slightly faster fastest attack (like our hardware has in the cold state).
Arpeggiator voice behaviour like on the hardware (when set to 8 voices).
Is now out
)Version 4.7.7 / 14.06.2023
New improved preset browser.
Poly aftertouch support (channel pressure support for the arpeggiator).
Note based velocity support in the arpeggiator.
(and of course he has already gone to 1.7.2 in the J-8 and 4.7.8 in the U-No-LX

Since Patrick is alas notorious for adding features without much explanation, hopefully these will help someone. (Sorry, I will include U-No-LX, here since I am not sure if there is a massive U-No-LX thread similar to this one).
Preset Browser changes are similar: You can now change/create attritubes: Bank name, your own Tags (multiple if you so wish), Sound Designer and Description (though these don't currently allow you to search or show up as a Tags in the browser).
You can select one or multiple presets (as shown in purplish rectangle) and tag all of them at one go. Not drag and drop tag but enter something into the SoundBank, or Tag field, or Author or Description) into the area with the yellow rectangle.
Once you enter anything new there, a Save button will show up as in the screenshot. You can also put presets into several Tag Categories if you so wish: Bass Arp, or Bass+Arp, or Bass, Arp... will all tag selected (and subsequently saved tags) as both Bass and Arp(s). And after you change tags etc, click on reload for the changes to show up properly.
You can also change the size of the font of the preset browser items using the +/- in the Red Rectangle and yes that now becomes your default Font size for the Preset Browser (I loveee this feature).
Velocity to Arp: (which of course only works if Velocity Sensitivy to VCA and VCF are not zero)
Now Arpeggiator is affected by whatever initial velocities you play the individual notes with, so you can emphasize specific notes in your Arp sequence. I had suggested to him to make this an option rather than the default behaviour, because though I begged for it and love it, not everyone might, and what happens to older projects.. I don't see an optional way (beyond turning velocity sens down in VCA and VCF,) but he might have allowed older projects (with older instances) to ignore this info for project consistency in these older projects.
Polyphonic Aftertouch/Channel Pressure to Volume and Filter: you can now (yes!!!) send channel pressure and polyphonic after touch to increase volume and filter cutoff per layer. (I don't have a polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, so never used this myself, but the channel pressure works great)..(See yellow rectangles in both J-8 and U-No-LX).
and Specific to the U-No-LX where previously the slowest speed the arp could go when sync was 1/8, it can now go as slow as 1/2 notes.. rsp

really need an aftertouch to modulation. This is what makes the CS80 so expressive
instead of trying to add it to the front panel, just make a secondary pop up config screen
---
also SFC-8 support should be in now, I saw a menu item for it in the patch name/options drop down list
Waiting for my B stock unit to arrive

Did another comparo of the Jp8 emulations, and I think the Roland cloud version, while not a true emulation of my unit, it sounds the closest to it, and reacts the most similar as far as the filters and tonal colour.
The bright, wet, shiny, clear tone.
Really lacking the dual mode, and the arp plays differently
I always felt that J-8 sounded a bit dryer and less shiny than my JP8
But is a truer emulation with the dual mode and arp feel.
The Arturia one is like somewhere inbetween I guess
Also lacking in dual mode - sigh, which is like a key thing in the Jp8
And the Arp plays nothing like the real thing where the top notes stop beyond keyboard range.
Similar to the JP4
