HC is owned by Musicians Friend. A wonderful store (and SR dealer) but they don't allow threads about group buys with other e-commerce stores (and esoundz is). That thread is going to disappear faster than Kaiser Sl... how do you spell that name from The Usual Suspects? And just like THAT he was gone.

But it was a noble effort! Worthy of recognition in the Group Buy archives.

There are several forums that do not allow posts about GBs. VI Control, Nothern Sounds, Keyboard Central. Their loss.

another small story, then.

it was 1988, my band was at its first gig in a theatre (the very first one was actually on a soccer field, under the rain, with a "crowd" of 4 people attending the event...).

It was election time and one of the left-wing parties (er....ehmmm.....actually it was the Italian Communist Party, that still existed at that time) organized this concert to support the local candidate, with us as a local band and a famous Italian songwriter, who started in the 70's, recorded more than 20 albums and so on. He is a very nice guy, he never left his job as a teacher in High School even after he became very popular.

Hovewer, being our first gig, we were really excited but a little worried, scared, nervous, at that evening.

When he (the songwriter) arrived, he looked at our scared faces and said, "C'mon, we haven't lost...yet"....

Is there a way to demo the Infinite player on my system before signing up for this?

Are the STm kits able to send individual drums out to individual tracks in my DAW, so I can EQ just the Kick (for instance)?

I'm sure the answers are somewhere in this thread, but it's become a bit of a Monster

Good point, Rainman. The bass is a lot like that too. I've worked on bass tracks where I thought it sounded perfect in isolation, but then sounded really weird in the track, and visa verse.

AFAIK it's just a plugin based on the free Kontakt Player...Not sure if there's a demo of IP though...

I originally posted about the deal at HC maybe 3 days ago, and it's still there. Today I posted an update and created a new thread in another HC forum. That one I don't know if it's allowed, but I've not received any comment about it.

Actually, depending on the specific forum you can post these types of deals. It will be gone in a day, since the thread only lasts for one month before it is locked and another takes its place.

Correct. If you try the free Kontakt Player and it works, then IP will work.
