I can safely say that there will definitely not be a group buy.

That is exactly it in the first paragraphozmoz2008 wrote:Most of the time you will have a better deal from retailers than from the DEV. I think it is totally normal because the DEV don't want to pull the rug from under their retailer's feet. It's a very usual business practice.
The download though should be cheaper, but that's my opinion to favor the "greener" solution. It seems that these things change only when there is some goverment incentive in that sense. Too bad.
If the developer competes with the retail store, the retail store may be less inclined to sell it..... as someone else point out, FXpansion isn' the first and wouldnt' be the last that this happens to, it is almost a standard industry practice.....
It is the license you are paying for irrespective of how it is delivered. Although I do believe they should be able to send you a box if you so desired.
I bought from fxpansion cause I didn't want to wait

Can you comment on whether a discount for registered users of other FXpansion products is likely?mm_FX wrote:I can safely say that there will definitely not be a group buy.

I had contact with FXpansion today on a completely separate issue and I have to say that the quality and speed of replies from my support requests were exceptional. A company that clearly cares about its users. I have to say that after this I'm glad to have paid the full rrp for Synth Squad direct from FXpansion. Glad to know my money is being well spent!

Been mentioned a few times in this giant thread. A demo is in the works and will be released when ready.IncarnateX wrote:Hmmm....I think I need some demo versions to decide. Will there be some?

But we can wait for a group buy in the near future, I hope. Or, a deal for registered GURU owners?
