I’ve been checking out a few synths to fit my rack and the MS2000 rack version looks pretty good value. When/why did you get rid of yours, assuming you did?

no probably not, but it sounds great, the vocoder is a nice addition too.
i dont use it as much as my modular, but thats because im shit at playing keys if anything, so get more instant gratification from the modular

but you can ask whyterabbyt, my old studio room, was so small, if i was sat with electric guitar, turned up loud enough that i could just hear it, it would still feed back as everything was piled together
i could literally reach all four walls from the middle of the room.

Mine is only a touch bigger than that. Good news is that the ground lift on my DI worked! I wired it up between my patchbay and audio interface. And at the flick of a switch I have all the noise I could want. Bonus!

FYI an Elektron Digitone can talk to a DAW and bring audio in via its Overbridge VST plus bring in external left and right (or 2 x mono) audio channels.
So get both. Glad to help!
