Scaler 2.7 out. Really nice new feature in it is it lets you sent different notes to different MIDI instruments. Really useful for separating out notes to drive different monosynths. Doesn’t work in Ableton obviously as that still has the ‘merge all MIDI to channel 1’ stupidity.

That plugin keeps on giving with these gigantic updates. Other vendors would have released 7 paid updates with the number of features they add with each new update.

Perhaps the channel split happens from channel 2 onwards.
Watch the video, he tells something like that.

That’s just the workaround for that particular problem, using the IAC driver.

Seems to be a Mac thing? I have a convoluted workaround using BlueCat Connector, but things would be so much easier if Ableton didn’t merge the MIDI data like most other DAWs.

Yeah, it’s a built it macOS thing. I got it to work on 12.6.1 on a M1 Mac, but there are lost notes every now and then, so it’s not really usable in my case.

I am looking at the Player Device Bundle reduced from $300 to $149 (50% discount)
The problem is that the total of all the Players is $194.
So when $194 is 50% off = $97 I will pull the trigger.
